Nope I was wrong. I watched a different video with different angles and Lau was sitting in the chairs at times when he lost rounds. The judges are up high above the guys with the speakers and they point to who won each round. Larry seems to have won all his rounds. Still not sure how the chairs work though other than you sit there when you lose to someone until something?
