Correction: The injury at the WOD Snapchat Battles was the ankle not knee. Didn't realize my mistake until it was too late lol. Also, I made this video pretty quickly just to see if people would want to watch a commentary style video. Thank you for informing Les Twins Fans. I've just recently learned about this through other postings this month. He's so Fucking good that he mastered camouflaging his injuries. He need to take all the time in the world to heal his knees. Les Twins fans ain't going nowhere. We're here for the longevity! Pls excuse me while I take this matter to church. Dear Lord, I am now praying to you, for you to put your loving hands onto your children who needs you in tough times and to watch and guide them through. Amen! I am in my 40's and a fan of dance and Les Twins also. I saw them in person 3 times. I have Twin girls a few years younger than them and they think I am nuts how impressed and I am of these two. Hope Laurent heals from this injury and they have continued success.

You did a great job with this video and thank you! Speaking from experience (multiple serious knee injuries/surgeries, hardware put in/removed), if Lau needs surgery to repair his injured knee and recovery time to heal properly, then he has to do it before there is irreparable damage. I'm sure this is terrifying and shatters him to even think about it but he has no choice but to do what needs to be done, however long that takes. He is blessed with so many talents and he and his brother as Les Twins will be successful in many areas. We love and support him and will pray for his healing and recovery - no one wants to see him suffering in pain.

I think Laurent is a very strong young man because knee pain is no joke, as anybody who has had knee pain would tell you. For him to continue doing those amazing drop moves when his knee hurts is mind boggling to me. However, he surely needs to attend to the matter now because I'm sure he would hate to hear the doctor tell him that he can't put stress on his knees for a year or two, since dancing with his brother, all over the world is what brings him joy. I pray he makes the right decision to take care of those precious knees. Remain blessed. 👍

Does anyone know what his medical options are? I read that he reinjured his knee after dancing too soon after surgery but what kind of surgery did he have and how badly was it interfered with? Are the doctors advising more surgical intervention? Is he going to physical therapy? He seems to be in more pain now than previously so just resting doesn' seem to be helping a whole lot. Of course he should stay off the knee but there must be some kind of therapeutic goal his orthopedist is working toward and I just wish we had some clinical facts to deal with. Right now I feel like all I can do is worry as we don't seem to know anything recent at all. Unofficial Les Twins, do you have any new info with which you can update this blog? Thank you for the excellent job you in sharing the news and YES I am very interested in reading more of your informative columns like this one and the voice over is a nice asett.

Poor Laurent. I think he should heal completely. I've had a knee replacement that was the result of multiple injuries over years, that I never let heal. And now I have a metal knee and it is good for ME but it doesn't bend like Laurent bends his knees. He needs to heal completely. A year is SHORT TIME. We will still love him. He's still adorable and funny and gorgeous - standing or sitting!

I remember complaining about my knees in a dance workshop taught by Nolan T'Sanai (long time ago) and his response was "have them surgically removed." Not so funny at all. I want Lau to get well. If he needs 6 months to a year, that's nothing in the grand scheme of things. He can still do a lot. I want him well so he can take care of his mother when and if she needs care. Lau is a man and men can be stubborn. I'm sure he is being supported by his mom, family, and most importantly Larry. the earliest video I have seen of laus knee problems is a dance battle that he and larry and diablo did in the Caribbean at least 4-5 years ago. there is a video on youtube. in this video laus knee got so bad they had to stop partway through a routine/battle sequence. since then I have noticed his knee flares up every now and then but more often the older he gets.

I thought that might have been his ankle because he was limping but I guess it might have been his knee. He really should rest his knee, even in the new IG stories you see when he is walking with his Stick he need, but i was a little shocked when i see him doing golf!!! Come on Lau don´t make it more that it pain over and over!! Even when they where in Germany before they send him to hospital, when he made pictures with Fan´s in a Club on the pictures you see the pain in his eyes... He should really rest his knee for some time!! =(

it's hard for someone who has the passion he does to quit. He lo as to dance it's his life line. but Lau get your rest please. so it doesn't prolong and makes it worse. You can never hold a legend like you back you will thrive my friend. It will only make you stronger. 💗💗💗💗

Knee injuries are serious and should not be taken lightly. Laurent should absolutely take whatever time he needs to heal. I know this is hard when dancing is probably his bread and butter but it is better to heal and comeback then to lose his knee overnight. I would tell him 'Relax, save and grow your coins. Come back on the scene another day in the future Laurent!"
