​@@daman11887 That's simply because you, along with millions of others, have kept a close eye on them and have watched so, SO many videos of them documenting their dance over the years... if people viewed every other dancer the same way, EVERY SINGLE DANCER WOULD BE CONCLUDED REPETITIVE... what's different is Les Twins are under that microscope and so it's easy to see similarities in their sequences over time. They're probably the most well-documented dancers in the world, and people forget the fact that whoever they're against, you haven't watched 1000 times already... but if you did, you'd think they're repetitive too (as is normal with anyone that obtains their own style)

Thank you for speaking on this man. Even more mindblowing that the sets we hear for Fusion Concept and other major competitions tend to be made up of exclusive mixes that aren't officially released until months after the event e.g. Serpentard's remixes of Climax and other songs etc. being released after Fusion Concept 2019 already used them. Les Twins know original or alternate variations of the tracks they're dancing to (like how they've danced to Ashanti's 'Only U' in their workshops), but not the ones being used in these battles (the Only U litefeet remix, which is the first song in this battle, is much faster than the one they dance to). Goes to show how versatile + adaptable Les Twins are, their rhythmic memory is basically eidetic... if they've heard a song ONCE in any form, no doubt they've codified it into its different layers and will recall upon them in dance... Insane talent and skill, once in a generation

Every year I try to get off to travel to Amsterdam and every year my Director says no. Lol I’ll be retiring from stage soon, and when I do that’s the FIRST event I’m supporting. Les twins have danced FOR YEARS, as a battler myself, it doesn’t take u long to figure out beats, especially if it’s as simple as these ones, there have been SEVERAL cases the twins didn’t figure out a beat and went for the 4 count and 8 count method cause that’s when the drops and other different sounds hit, in my opinion gamal we’re better and we’re doing way more than the twins and always bringing something new, the twins on the other hand not saying there not good there incredible dancers but gamal should’ve taken this and yet again cause of les twins name they won but it is what it is

@@karimmo8162 Your argument is pretty questionable because Les Gamals, evident here, are heavily routine-based and lack individuality + sequencing when dancing solo... then you present yourself as a battler and offer this questionable conclusion while replying to a rather distinguished popper's (JRock Nelson) approval of the dancers you're saying won because of their name. As a fan of both Les Twins and Gamals, there are undeniable weaknesses that Gamals showed here, and great strengths that Les Twins were able to play into, partly due to the choice in music here. Les Gamals, as I've watched many battles of theirs, lack the foundation in their individual dancing that will help them become even better. I hope that they begin participating in solo divisions so they can learn not to rely on their combos, which are already showing a lot of redundancy (e.g. the signature 'clap' and legup, etc.). Everything they did here was impressive choreography, but it only goes so far in a freestyle competition. And if you've watched Gamals other battles the way you've watched many of Les Twins battles, you will notice Gamals did not bring anything especially new at all. Biggest problem of theirs? 70% practiced (albeit well-timed) team combos, 30% freestyling. Les Gamals need to change that ASAP because judges see right through that

I admit I'm bias and I have a hard time watching any other dancer now...the problem with being a fan and having followed Les Twins for over 10 years now, is you can't help but see other dancers use their style (Even if they don't admit it or do)....you can't help but say oh Les Twins did that move 8 years ago....can't help but say Les twins would of hit that cleaner, sharper and harder.....and when you really hear the music just most dancers don't match up to hitting as many beats and clean transitions....almost like Les Twins has ruined me enjoying other dancers haha

You should watch more Rubix, Paradox, Waydi, Alex the Cage, Lil Blade/Luciano, Franky Dee, etc. You'll come to appreciate and understand how difficult everyone's individual styles are. The difference between the twins is their character. In this battle, you could really see the confidence of Les twins. Both twins used several signature moves but what makes Les twins different is that they'll try to make you feel the music even in their little gesture and even facial expressions. Whilst the Les Gamal feels like they are only there to dance and doing all the routine and stuff, but they don't seem to enjoy it. I think they are feeling the pressure since Les twins is the crowds favourite. Correct me if I'm wrong.

@@aquickfoo4256 I've followed Les Gamal for some time, and safe to say their rise to prominence began in 2018 when they participated in World of Dance (not the show but Paul Mitchell's event!). They established themselves as a duo officially in 2012 though and have been training since then -- moreover, Les Twins were in the game long before Les Gamal stepped in. And though Loïck and Emerick formed Les Gamal in 2012, they did not compete/participate in events until at least half a decade later. In fact I think WOD 2018 was the first time they qualified/stepped into a major competition. Meanwhile, Les Twins had been a duo long before they formed Criminalz Crew, which they founded in 2005. As a duo they began competing as early as 2008 in major competitions like Juste Debout. And of course, they had been training together way before Criminalz too. Les Gamal have stated that their style is 'new style hip hop' and so I am tempted to say they are very inspired by Les Twins, or at least have been affected by the legacy Larry and Laurent have had on the global dance scene. Putting the details together, I can't see Les Gamal not using Les Twins as a reference point since the latter put new style on the map and validated it in hip hop dance culture. If Les Gamal polish their individuality and step out of their comfort zone, I think they can go very far and win many comps going forward, but as they are I think they have reached their ceiling as a duo

Anyone notice how good Larry has been throughout this event as a ''backup'' dancer ? Lau is usually the one that compliments Larry well during their twinning but Larry was the one that caught me by surprise, like a lot of Lau's great rounds have been also thanks to Larry. Maybe Larry has always been great at assisting and he did it a lot more during this event than normal which is why I'm more positively shocked as opposed to Lau who has always been exceptional at assisting anyone. Just wanted to point out how Larry has impressed me this event.

Well, all of that 'assisting' in this event was prepared in advance. Lot's of choreos and whatnot. You can tell they trained hard for it and came to win. That's where Larry's unusual 'supporting' role comes from.

@@AI.viewer Les twins do a Lot of Freestyles in battles, and not Choreos. Most of their rounds are pure freestyle and not choreographed at all. They just have a powerful connection and know each other so well, that's where Larry's "supporting" roles come from and vice versa. These two have been dancing together Forever. And unlike other duos, being twin brothers also adds to their strong connection. It's like they can read each other's minds💯
