Great interview between old friends and rising stars! I don't understand the controversy or the shade. Les Twins refer to hard working people as"Monster" which they recognized FIK-SHUN as during the interview. They shared the moment when they first met FIK-SHUN and he was bold enough to challenge him (LAU). They are supporting and recognizing each others growth since the last time they met. Les Twins also THANK him at the end of the interview. Money has not change them. What we see is their GROWTH into young men. They are older, their English is better, and most important both (LesTwins/FIK-SHUN) HARD WORK has paid off. Learn from these young men! It's called giving PROPS! Much respect. Arian Hamidi Easy. 1. Larry has better English. 2. Larry has a full tattoo sleeve on his right arm and Laurent on the left. 3. Laurent always has the longer hair. And 4. The easiest way to tell that Laurent has the mic is when he said he battled Fikshun and his leg was hurting. Larry didn't battle him, it was Lau. Easier than ever :)

Hey what's up it's FIK-SHUN. First of all there is no beef between me and the twins. I don't have anything towards them. And to be honest lol since I met them they've always kind of been this way and it doesn't really bother me. I'm still going to keep doing my thing and going in for the people, for the love of dance, and to be better than I was the day before. That's the big issue with people online, they spread lies, beef and rumors like wildfire, without even knowing the source. Always comparing dancers for no reason. I fuck with the french twins and i fuck with fik-shun too, with equal level of respect. I felt like in this interview they were actually supporting each other while challenging him ya feel me. And this is a good spirit (IMO) This is how artists grow, this is how a dancer seeks to improve.

I absolutely love Les Twins and I'm definitely a huge fan and follower, but they're really starting to seem a bit too cocky(not in a good way) to me.. I mean, yes we all know you're very talented and that you've danced and worked with A-List celebrities but stay humble. Don't let all the fame and spotlight get to your head. You also have to give credit where credit is due. Fik Shun in my opinion is just as talented as they are from what I've seen. I still love them, but I definitely feel like they need to remember how much of an inspiration they are to a lot of people, their passion of dance, and have a huge slice of humble pie.

I have followed both sides extensively. In my opinion they both deserve to be there, they all respect eachother and have incredible talent. Fik shun is a humble dude that seems to have a heart of gold. Les twins are really nice guys that like to have fun. The reason why it seems they are being disrespectful is the language barrier, the jokes are funny in their head but coming out in english it's just a bit awkward, this coming from a guy who speaks 6 languages(not very humble but it's to make a point). I just discovered Fik-Shun (the interviewer) and he KILLS IT at the WOD Vegas show. He's not the same style as the twins, but he kills his style just like the twin kill theirs. I can see why you feel that way you really look up to Larry, I see it in your dancing. But you have to feel the conversation for what it is without taking sides. Pay attention to how Larry gave that "yeah right loser" laugh which is obvious right after fik shun mentioned being in the same bracket. If you told Larry that you've been practicing real hard because you like his style and you believe your close after working so hard in being like him and he gave you that laugh, how would you truly feel??? To belittle someone mentally and emotionally in that manner must've had reason behind it. I'm talking about one aspect of the interview but there are other things that happened that drew to the conclusion something happened.

Chris Prater After reading the new comments, someone said they have beef going on. It kinda explains the supposed sarcasm coming from the two, but honestly I'm bad at catching on sarcasm lmfao. Still I think people are overanalyzing this interview a little too much. Believe me or not, I get worse vibes from Brian Puspos, and I've actually met him in person to take a workshop. He's an amazing choreographer, yes, but his personality may be something different. But I guess it comes along with the level of cockiness needed for each of these dancers' careers. Plus the twins had their fair share of people disrespecting them upfront (the recent 7 to smoke battle, the battle with holex to name a few), so I think this is pretty minor in comparison. Oh and thanks for noticing Larry's dance in my dance! :)

I sort of regret adding to the negative energy, because we were all guilty of doing something similar in our lives. Looking back before I got into philosophy and working to be more aware of myself I did the same and I forgive myself because I'm not perfect and just didn't know how I made others feel. Being human we all truly just want to be appreciated by others and connect because anyone with lots of money who one day woke up to find everyone else in the world dissapeared would give it all up for someone to live with. I've watched les Twins for a long time and are caring people like the rest of us who make mistakes "until" we learn. Many of agree that what they did didn't make us happy but let us hope that our admired duo In time grow from this and become more aware of others feelings.

I love les twins but when Laurent gets cocky towards people and show disrespect it makes me angry.They don't know that in time, when their bodies get older , they won't be able to do the same stuff.Laurent won't do splits,death drops, and knee drops the same.Larry won't be able to move his legs fast enough.Their musicality just might weaken during the time they get older due to the way their minds will grow as they grow.And the worst part about it is that the same people that they could have stepped on as they got to the top, just may not help them if they fall.Their pride and carelessness could take them over and they could lose sight of what's important and they will mess themselves up......I'm praying for them. It's a little too much of an overreaction, I felt no shade at all. I know worse people among dancers I know of that make me super uncomfortable haha, Larry and Laurent were being pretty respectful with Fikshun. It's not like they answered with 1 or 2 words, Larry gave a whole description of when they first met.

Ken Inao No, I wasn't overreacting, it was more than obvious, I'd like to think different. I'm always defending them, literally, because they're my favorite dancers, but here they disappointed me a lot. You can clearly see how they state how much better than Fik-Shun they are. (Even though for me they are, not respectful at all how they put it out to him) And Laurent laughing sarcastically when Fik-Shun said he was nominated in the same bracket, meanwhile, he was just expressing how they are an inspiration to him, and the whole head touching? Just not cool

Jorge Isaac Someone else in the comments mentioned possible beef behind the scenes, so I can't really come to any conclusions. I know they usually don't act in a manner that die hard fans like us would react this much, so there must be something going on between them at the last WS they had. Just a speculation though.

Let me run sumn by yall there was shade thrown in this interview Larrys known for it but not lau..so there has to be more to this they may not like lil buddy and he doesnt know that.Larry is always cocky money changes ppl lately them 2 have been very rude towards fans etc...this right here just happened to be caught on tape..They feel like there better then these other dancers becuz they have more goin on these dudes have millions they not broke any more so they feel like a nigga like fik shun is someone they aint gotta talk to or be around. Let me just say that I've been to a few of their workshops, and they have been generous, humble and respectful to their fans. I don't know what your problem with them is (sounds like a serious case of hateration) but, personally in all of this you have come across way more disrespectful than anything they said in this video. I highly doubt that Fik-Shun's skin is as thin as yours (and some other commenters) seem to be.

Les twins treated Fikshun this way because he is using some of their songs and he is stealing some of their moves . I followed les twins for 5 years . They made up all their moves . I guess they treated fikshun like this because he is trying to be more popular than them .

I believe I have an idea of what's going on after analyzing the video. I believe they must of had an argument on who the better dancers are at the workshop. Fik seemed sarcastic when telling them they got nominated and asking them how they felt as if it's a miracle. The twins fired back with them knowing what they are the best of, right before Larry tapping fik as if he noticed a reaction of dis belief in fik. Fik must've came across as wanting to prove he is better in front of the crowd in a disrespectful way by how Laurent was sharing the story using a belittling tone. After wards Laurent sarcastically said that while he danced "good" he would basically comfort him to make his dance feel worthy.Laurent putti flag his hand on his forehead signaled he must've had a temper behind the scenes. It points to fik getting mad at the WS and was checked to see if they're obvious diss struck a nerve. Or as other commenters said he dissed his big forehead because fik did fire back in a sarcastic tone digging the hat and beanie. This is starting to get too long but it's obvious whatever the problem is its revolving around skill in dancing. Look at the way Larry looks at him throughout the video watch closely. There is a hint of annoyance and dislike.
