Hi Jerome, long time no see, how are you doing ? I remember when I have seen your first videos on TikTok last year, you are the man who motivated me for relearning English. Made without any help, I hope my sentence is completely correct..😬

Hi Jacky, It feels so good to hear from you! I am so proud to learn I have a part of responsibility in your English practice. And your English is quite impressive!👏🏻( Just mind your preterit with "last year"-> I saw. You're definitely on the right track: congratulations!

@@langlaiscommejamais ouch, this mistake 🙄 , arf, it is a hard way though.. thanks for your advice and these words, it makes me smile, I am probably going to cry now . We laugh, we laugh but this is a enormous job .. oh, I have a question, do you know this grammatical form : «you are to » leave, for example ? To say an obligation ? Is it true ? I saw that last week on TikTok.

BE TO + infinitive: especially used in the news and formal or official instructions (you would not naturally use the form in spoken English). It can express an event expected to happen in the near future ("The president is to visit China next month.") or instructions: "Your luggage is not to be left unattended."

@@langlaiscommejamais ok, thanks, this form seems strange to me…
