At its core, I think this song is appropriate for any age group where the kids are already aware of contraception. Beyond that, there’s no foul language, and it articulates excellent ethical propositions and challenges. Check your local school board temperature before trying this out in your classroom room.

Thankyou for responding quickly - It is certainly a qualified diagnosis of the condition. I suffered from severe depression a few months back. I can tell you that I never wanted to leave my bed, my future was bleak, and I didn't listen to anything anyone had to say purely because I wasn't able to respond appropriately or concentrate on it. Undoubtedly you weren't in a great position either, but it wasn't depression. Regardless, I'm glad the song helped you.

I kinda grew up with the lyrics of this in mind (20 years earlier), "the system might fail you, but don't fail yourself" "criticism should be instructive and teaching should not be about following instruction" "that you should grow up first before bringing someone into the world to grow up" I think it did me well.
