3 things I realized after watching this episode. 1.) I didn’t know there was a green version of *Triangle guy* at the beginning 2.) *He* must have tested the code in order for it to work. 3.) Rumble maybe have had a looking up animation... how else did he see Robbie from so close to the tower without looking up, even though he said he didn’t have one and it didn’t show him looking up. 4.) Dipper tanked around 30 of Rumble’s punches at FULL FORCE!

Yes, but also no. Men have a skeletal structure that gives them far more strength and leverage, not to mention more muscle than women are capable of cultivating. If a man and a woman of equal fighting skill get into a fight, the guy is going to win. I remember taking a look at some stats and was shocked that even men who don't work out and sit around all day are stronger than something like 95% of women. It's nature 😕 And yeah, I know this kind of makes me the 'bad guy' bringing this up, but I think this is important information. Too often do I hear stories of women who think that because they're trained in martial arts they can take a man, and choose fight instead of flight in a dangerous situation, and it ends up very poorly. Women have to be realistic about the strength disparity, and always choose fighting as a last resort when dealing with a male opponent. And it's also important for men to know this. While it's not okay for anybody to hit anybody, it's why it's especially bad when a man hits a woman. Because a man is gonna hit *way* harder, whether he means to or not. For a little example of the difference between men and women, professional women's soccer teams train against middle-school boy's teams. And they often lose. I'm not trying to paint some sort of 'men are better than women' picture, because I don't believe that. But men and woman *are* different in some areas, and it's important for safety that those differences are acknowledged. That being said, saying you fight like a girl is still a dick insult.

But skill plays a part in things, and women do have an advantage when it comes to learning due to their improved listening and comprehension abilities. So that’s why women think they can take on male opponents. And there are those who can take down men if they’re skilled enough, it has happened before. When we consider sports, those aren’t fights. There is a component of thought that goes into fighting, it isn’t just brute strength. It is possible to plan around it. There’s a reason why self defense classes work. Also men have worse pain tolerance than women, so that could also help. I’m not going to pretend men don’t have a huge advantage in speed, strength, etc. but you spent way too much time harping on physical skills there the “fight like a girl” comment is more about skill. While your logic is sound for “equal skill”, there’s no way to find “equal skills” to begin with, so it’s pointless to talk about it terms of combat abilities

I was not the only one that noticed that those letters of like "Finish him" or whatever, some had LGBTQ+ flags: 9:28 & 11:56 "Bonus Round" and "Game Over" is the Non-binary flag. And so are those numbers on 10:55 ... 10:14 "Finish Him" is the Lesbian Flag. And when Dipper wrote "Dip" I thing it also had the colors of the Non-binary flag. I see your at one of my favorite episodes of the 1st season, especially the ones that aren’t about the plot. Neat! I had quite the phase in looking up and emulating old fighting and beat-em-ups in my teen years. So this episode was quite the fun ride for teen me. I recommend approaching this season in a similar way to Amphibia’s first season. Where there’s a decent amount of one-off and non-plot related episodes. So take your time worrying about the plot a bit. Your speculations are already getting me excited for you to tackle the episodes with some plot.

i hope people haven’t hyped gravity falls up too much for you. it’s my favorite show of all time but i'd be lying if i said season 1 wasn’t full of filler. and even saying “oh just wait for the end of the season, that’s where it gets REALLY good” might be overselling it too. cuz it’s better to go into it with mild expectations and be mind-blown by the awesome lore episodes, than to have really high expectations and be let down by them. overall, i hope ur enjoying the series so far :)

I agree. The main point of gravity falls that made it so good wasn't the specific episodes (although they are quite enjoyable to watch anyway) but rather all the codes, secrets, lore, hidden hints to future events, and things like that.
