Had our (quick) wedding trip from Paris to Bruges because of our jobs. No divorce since then. Tx Bruges 30 years later. We ended up at Zeebruges (the actual fishingport of Bruges) and asked for a tray of local seafood. 'Sorry we don't have that'. I told how sorry I was because of the occasion (wedding trip) and we ordered some sole fishes (small and incredibly good in Belgium). They came with an outstanding tray of seafood and then came those sole fish. So nice ;)) Belgium is a gift for anyone.

My husband took me to beautiful Bruges for my 40th Birthday and I adore it. Been several times since, with our sons. The Central Square is beautiful when lit up at night and houses fabulous Restaurants. That's also where the Horse drawn Carriages can be found. We loved the romantic night time Horse drawn tours where everything is so quiet and pretty and friendly drivers share a little of Bruges History., then off for dinner and wine ☺ The Water tours are also unmissable, the people are friendly. I cannot wait to go again

Hi, I am a local citizen of Bruges and if you really want to try the belgian beers, you need to go to 't Brugs beertje! It's not really known by tourists, but you'll be in schock when you're going to see all the beers they have (also at a reasonable price)! Sometimes, they even have a beer called 'black damnation' that has an alcohol percentage of 18%! Must-go if you ask me!

Could anything be better than waking up to find a new video from Les Frenchies? --- I think not! Awesome tour but I do need to ask about tipping. Is it like France where everything is included or do you only tip for something exceptional beyond your expectations? All the best of the season an a very Joyeux Noel 🎅 🎄 ❣❣❣❣ this channel.
@stijnverplancke54552 жыл бұрын
Since this question doesn't get answered: on a check/bill it states tax and service is included. But, unless you're traveling to Disneyland expecting to see glitter and stars anywhere by default; extra tipping for a good quality service is really just so basically kind. The thing is however, some places have people for service, cleaning and receiving. You guess (most of) these joints don't care about tips you'd like your waiter/waitress to earn; and just add it up to the pile without proper shares. So just look out for the places recommend by locals in general and see how the working culture is. As plated in this video, tourist traps usually don't profoundly care for anything but profits and you don't want to know how many "authentic local dishes" get delivered by catering wholesalers every morning while tourists are having their fresh French croissant... Right. So should you? No. Is it worth considering along some options and checks before going on a trip you're paying for these days? Fill that in.
