Leshiy 2 regulator rebuild UK part 1

Great vid... have you seen the Huma Regs for the L2 ? It even has markings for different reg pressures.

Another great video fella .... Would magnetising the washers make it easier to keep them all together during assembly/disassembly?

Possibly, however for the Leshiy 2 and its large washers keeping them together isn't that hard as the piston is easily removable and the washers are kept in place by the o ring on the end of the piston, however I could see a benefit in magnetizing the washers of a FX AMP style reg as the piston is down a hole and a little trickier to work on.

I've just replaced my E.A.R reg for the standard reg and plenum of my L2 and I'm finding that the power is consistent at around 10.5 ftlb. But if i then shoot the gun after about 1 hour or leave over night then shoot, the power on the first shot will be around 11.5ftlb. I would appreciate any advice as to why this is happening? Thanks for such informative videos!

Its reg creep, as you leave the rifle the regulator pressure slowly creeps past the set point and your first shot is at a higher reg pressure, unfortunately a very common problem with the EAR, Edgun has a video but his solution is to ignore the first shot. We don't have the EAR reg on our rifle so unfortunately we can't have a look and figure out the problem. Thanks for watching.

Does anyone know what the small hole is for in the middle of the regulator? I believe my leshiy is leaking air from that hole since air is leaking from where the two top tubes meet.

Its the breathe hole for the belleville chamber on the reg, one of the o rings in the reg has failed. Thanks for watching

Hi thanks for the question, I just apply dry lube to the belleville washers, its just for the metal to metal contacts, applying it to the other parts (body, piston ect.) will have little to no benefit as they all ride on o rings and should be lubricated by silicone grease. Thanks for watching. 👍

@@sub12airgunners Hi Jeff/Geoff, sorry for coming in late here, I did watch this and many others of yours as they came out but my L2 is coming soon, same spec as yours plus the 350cc bottle so I’m re-watching the good L2 vids, meaning all yours as well. My question here on the use of dry lube, if the lube gets on the o-rings, is there a danger of it cancelling out the benefit of the silicon grease? In other words, do you need to be very careful not contaminate the areas where the 2 different lubes are used?
