Leslie Gore's brother let my family's Doberman pinscher breed with their male Doberman. She had puppies, and I got one of them. He was not only the greatest Doberman of all time, but the greatest dog of all time, and Leslie Gore was his aunt.

Tied for my favorite pop tune of all time. I'm 67 and shudder at the 9--10 year old I was when I first heard it in 1966--67. I thought nothing could be so pretty.

Lesley Gore on Mike Douglas TV show, probably from 1967. This was lip-synced, which is the first time I've seen Lesley not do a live presentation on any of these talk shows.

How do we know that she lip-synced since someone overlayed the recording over the live video. People usually did not lip sync on this show.
