This story had so many layers. He knew she was going to get the part, and make lots of money in the future. He robbed her to support himself currently. She didn't need all the stuff in her house. He did. It was about sacrifice, necessity, hunger, poverty, generosity, and reciprocity. Although he did something bad, it seemed like HE HONESTLY BELIEVED IN HER. He had GOOD in his heart, despite his actions, and he passed it on to her...BECAUSE THAT'S ALL HE HAD TO OFFER. Excellent piece Wigs!!

I love all Wigs shows ..this one touched me very much so..you cant have it all ..you have to learn how to win and lose ...and because you lose it doesnt mean the end of it all. It shows how sometimes you have to care for people even if it costs you everything...there is someone who did it for all of us..:) so love this one..very deep.

What a perfect ending. She truly gets to see the goodness in the end, even in a wrongdoer. It wasn't a punishment, since doing wrong against someone isn't the same as punishment. This ending absolutely completed her part.

This mini two part series was very touching. Here it is an actor whom is no longer in her prime, is now striving for this role as Mother Theresa. Thus, she attempts to become Mother Theresa by applying that role into her life. The ironic part about this short series, which should be appreciated is that the homeless man was the one whom gave her the lines to obtain the part of Mother Theresa and then Leslie is suddenly struck with reality that her precious belongings were taken.

Excellent....I think in the end he gave her more than he took. ..thats why she was not so mad about being robbed....that line he gave her is the reason she got the part.
@TheBhumiChannel12 жыл бұрын
When I was a teenager living in Brooklyn, our apartment was robbed and it looked exactly like that, if not worse. When thieves come in to steal they usually ransack the place looking for hidden valuables, and they do it as quickly as possible so they can get in and out as quickly as possible so they pull the whole place apart and when you walk into a home that has just been robbed it usually looks like a bomb hit it.

I have always enjoyed the work of Catherine O'Hara, since her SCTV days. This was a very nuanced, layered performance, and I really liked it. I was initially disappointed with the ending, but I couldn't really think of a better way it might have turned out. She essentially traded some stale trappings from her past (and some cash and Jewelry?) for a Brighter Future. Good Deal.

I think with Leslie, In the first episode she was comtemplating in her head that he was going to do something bad, but she was so wrap up in getting the role. Only after being interviewed she realize what being good was actually about, thought the man did a terrible thing she realize he was not as fortunate as her and something worst could have happen.

Cass was from the Jan series, actually and yes he played a very beautiful person who helped the down and out and this isn't the first black person featured on a Wigs production. There were two black actors on this episode also, but hardly anyone (at least the ones complaining) took notice of the casting agent. And there are many many black and other minorities who work behind the scenes to make these series.
@Sullenstone12 жыл бұрын
True, it was a bit hard to see her place with the dark lighting and on my small cellphone. Yes I totally agree with your view. But I would have felt burned! Although in the beginning it wasn't a totally sincere act in helping him she did learn/take away a very genuine lesson. Good series despite the fact it only had 2 episodes.

Yes, her inner self was warning her that this action of inviting in a stranger was inappropriate and in ordinary circumstances she probably would not have extended herself to him. But because she was up for the role of M. Teresa, she was trying to get into that role. The funny thing was that because she invited him in, she got what she needed to GET that role, but ended up getting robbed. Next time she does good, I'm sure she'll do it in a more appropriate way.
@NinjaNeko9312 жыл бұрын

I'm thorn by the end of this. He robbed her after all. Who would've thought her paranoia was real. Trying to be a good person she trusted him, but I guess that's why they had the conversation where he said even of the bad people there's some good. Im impress and wow I felt a bond with the character so hearth wrecking
@JamJamLuvsU12 жыл бұрын
sometimes.... at the end of the day people just got to look out for themselves because in their eyes they have no choice, especially someone who doesn't have anything and that person sees that the person who showed them kindness has much more, so much so that they're able to get over what they have lost because they have everything to gain, while he has nothing to lose.

Wow... I loved this Wiggs episode! Nice seeing Catherine O'Hara! This is all for entertainment... I saw a homeless man ... not a BLACK MAN.... all of you that made the 'racist' comments, you are the ones making this about race!!! Shame on you!!! With comments like that, as a society we will never get past the racism in this world. Too bad! What i got from this story is that while Nello might have taken from Leslie to get what he needed. she also took from him to get what she needed! Loved it!

Yes that's true. The dark lighting combined with my phone's small screen made it hard to see, plus it was a little surprising that after the kindness she showed him (even though at first it wasn't completely sincere) he would go through robbing her. On a side note your username is too funny. :-)

Yeah, but it demonstrated the principle that was the running theme through this piece, that there is always a little good in everyone, if you just look for it. While he stole from her, it was also his association that got her the role of M. Teresa in the end. When she met the casting agents, she simply repeated what he had told her about seeing the good in everyone, and that even bad people have a little good in them and that landed her the role. Kind of an interesting twist, don't you think?
@nakunarimasu12 жыл бұрын
Well, I guess they robbed each other. After all, she took his words and got her part.
