As usual, fascinating information. I can't imagine there has ever been anyone more adept at compartmentalization than Ted Bundy. Not only can he juggle all these people in the air at once, he juggles a different version of himself to pair with each person.

@@CaptainBorax Yep. The mask of insanity is exhausting, especially when you have to keep changing it for each and every interaction. I think the only time Bundy was was not wearing his mask was when he had a victim in his grasp/control. The thrill he felt when he unleashed the real Ted must have been accompanied by that huge sense of (temporary) relief that always comes with letting go of pretenses and just being yourself.

Every person I have spoke with didn't know of the others during his Utah time, and they all played different parts: Girlfriends, party friends, Church people, Law school folks

Well, he never had a real job, not for long, and he hardly ever attended any of his college classes. His ex gf Liz helped him with rent, books, tuition etc, and early n their relationship he mostly lived at her place. He was a parasite.

@@juanitarichards1074 yep-you hit the nail on the head. Stealing helped him fund things too. But mainly, the sociopath side of him knew how to manipulate those that loved and cared for him. This enabled him to meet his basic life needs and have time for murder and mayhem. Loans, gifts etc. He also had an older lady ‘patron’ who loaned him cash, cars, gave him gifts etc. Sociopaths are skilled at getting what they want from you-I have a ‘friend’ who is one and his movements remind me of Bundy, big time. I’m just glad my friend is non-violent.

I hate that people will say things that make you feel like you're doing something wrong when you're doing wonderful things. These people are not good people or have not have not taken any time to watch any length or series of videos that you put out. I mean really the Lynette Culver her the memorial that you guys raised funds for made me cry and was so special and helped the family with the closure they needed so badly and nobody ever talks about that case but you guys went out of your way to do something that you will truly be rewarded for that. Keep up the good work it is very meaningful. Always remember where there's good and you guys have a lot of good you're sharing on your Channel there is evil trying to test you and take it away. My father who passed away a few years back always said if you're doing something really good and something tries to intervene or put it down that means that the devil doesn't like it so he'll try and throw bad things your way something as stupid as a comment from some nobody. Which really is freaking awesome because like my Dad told me that means that what are doing is working and what you're doing is obviously Worth Fighting For. Thank you for this very interesting interview. I wonder what Ted wanted the sewing machine for and why he didn't return it?? I also didn't know Ted was a campus officer. Makes me really wonder if he wore the uniform to gain trust from some of the Utah victims such as Melissa Smith, Nancy Wilcox and Nancy Baird. I know Ted denied having anything to do with Nancy Baird but I have strong feelings he did.

Odd that both Ted Bundy and John Wayne Gacy were both involved with politics, at one time. Ted the GOP and John the Democrats. Gacy is even in a photo with President Jimmy Carter’s wife, Rosalynn. I wonder if they were doing their political activites at about the same time period? Sometime in the 1970s?

There are some interviews I really want to hear such as with Carol DaRonch, and also other Bundy attack survivors Kathy Kleiner, Karen Chandler and Karen Sparks, and then interviews with some of the defense and prosecutors from the FL trials like Margaret Good, Michael Minerva, Bob Haggard, and prosecutor Dan McKeever, if any of these are still around. Anyway, I want to say keep up the great work on your channel, you have captured some real gems with these never seen before interviews that none of the Bundy docs have managed to get.

Well, I tried many times with Carol and she ghosted me always, I think she was under contract with certain production companies and couldnt talk. but I have Kathy Kleiner and Karen Sparks on here . Both were super cool and gracious to chat me up. I really love them, I mean they didn't have to talk to me a nobody and Kathy was a getting pretty well known by then. Karen gave me the first ever interview which is nuts to me! Those later attorneys are a helluva good idea, thanks for the reminder. I'll try to track them down. One thing about this story is that almost everyone I've spoken with has been 100% gracious and frank with me which I'm forever grateful for.

Your interviews don't feel like interviews, it's a great conversation and so much fascinating trivia is coming out that we never knew about AND we get to see you driving to those locations so we can picture the setting, that's something we hardly ever see with a standard interview. I think the interview I keep going back to watch over again and again is with Bob Hayward (RIP) in the car, just absolutely fascinating stuff and then actually seeing him explain locations of what happened as well is so cool. I hope you eventually get that interview with Carol, hopefully she isn't under contract anymore. She has certainly done some recent interviews. I haven't seen any interviews anywhere with the attorneys from the Bundy FL trials which is kinda weird, apart from a very brief interview with Margaret Good on Bundy's personality. If you can get Margaret Good that would be great.

Bundy’s eyes are one of the biggest common denominators use to describe him. They were very expressive, unusually bright in colour and also turned (and I quote) ‘black’ when enraged. People also said he had a blank look in his eyes when went into ‘kill’ or ‘dark’ mode.

Nobody believed he was guilty and that was before the trial so he was presumed innocent he was out on bail

I absolutely love Captain Borax's page, he's my type of guy, for as we share the same love for this s***, I am like obsessed with this kina s***, (and ID investigation, serial killers, forensic files, murder murder murder, but not in a sick type of way), and Bundy, is my absolute favorite serial killer, to research, and learn everything I can about,(maybe because I moved to seattle, when I was five, but was born in Chicago) second to John Wayne gacy, well I actually moved to Tacoma when I was five, and the same area and neighborhood as Bundy, a total life away, I moved there in 85, and when I was about 14 I moved to the suburbs of seattle, specifically Lynnwood and Edmonds, MLT area, but anything you want to know about this guy, (Bundy), this guy has the answer for you, (@Captin Borax) I honestly used to think you, that if anybody wants to know anything far as the crimes, in the right geography and time, they will have to pretty much get it from me, used to get so annoyed at false information, although it was done under the right circumstances, but I just figured nobody else really knew and studied this man, like I did, meaning as a regular Joe, of course people like Bob Keppel, and Roger Dunn, Kathy McChesney I think her last name might be McKinney, she was just a detective back again, she started working with Keppel and Roger, in Seattle on the "Ted" cases, and of course Bundy friend turned biographer, Annn Rule, and of course detective Nick Mackie, Bob Haward, Jerry Thompson, Mike Fisher, and Dect. Norm Chapman, Sheriff Ken Katsiris, FBI profiler Bill Magier, but again just your average Joe, is definitely Captain Borax
