Leslie RS5T-RRO Full Orifice, Ex Seaboard/CSX

My latest acquisition, a Leslie RS5T-RRO. This horn is of Seaboard origin, though the surface layer of gray is not the original SBD gray. DF stamp on the manifold dates it to 4th quarter 1979 and shows signs of CSX blue and traces of the original gray underneath. The Parsippany power chambers were very worn when I received the horn and had trouble sounding properly, so I had all 5 remachined by Mike Muha and added new donut gaskets and bolts. The horn originally had variable orifice dowel pins, but I decided to swap them out with full orifice pins to reach maximum shredding potential.

Would 3d printing the diffuser rings work? I have been trying to make my own but cutting them perfect is the difficult part. This Leslie sounds perfect! I have a RS5T but doesn’t sound anything like this! Sounds terrible lol.

It might be possible although I’ve never messed with them so I’m not sure how they go in lol. Do you have a video of it?
