West Bruce & Laing LIVE in Jahrhunderthalle, Frankfurt, Germany on April 16, 1973. FULL CONCERT! NEWLY REMASTERED by me for the Amazing Leslie West & MOUNTAIN Fan Club / thegreatfatsbies !!
I was able to get very decent separation with the instruments, while cleaning up lots of undesirable noise. Lots of new tone found in all instruments, especially with Leslie's guitar. New tones of Corky and Jack really boost the quality of the recording that's been floating around on youtube.
Vocals unfortunately still suffer in some parts due to the intense power of the instruments/amps and age/quality of the original recording device and location of recording, but HUGE improvements were definitely made in my post editing/mastering.

This concert is from the end of their touring days. I saw them on April 28, 1972 at the Spectrum in Philadelphia at the beginning of the band and they were on fire. The roar that greeted Jack after Politician was a heart felt acknowledgement to his last time in the city in November 1968 on Cream's farewell tour. Leslie's heavenly harmonics sounded like violins & cellos to me at certain points. Corky was unleashed manic fury with machine gun like snare drum shots. For the record, Spirit and Fleetwood Mac (pre-Buckingham/Nicks) were the support acts.

I saw them once at the Keil in Saint Louis. Live N Loud is the right way to Shake to Ass Kickin Rockin N Rollin Blues. Loud is the way for me.
