WOW!!! What a beautiful country! Yes, I watched the movie "The Black Panther", saw the mountains & did ask myself where it was filmed...now I've just got my answer "Lesotho". Incredible. Hope I can visit this naturally beautiful amazing country one day!. Interesting to know it snows there. My Country... as a Mosotho from the lowlands I get chills every time we go up the mountains...It is so peaceful and breath taking...Its like you are in another planet. When you come back from the mountains you feel like a new person, with no destructions but a clear mind, I swear to God...No wonder in Tibat the monks in the mountains have so much peace and satisfaction of being human...its the same feeling when you get to my beloved Maluti mountains...it will humble you!😭😭🤗🤗☺☺

I regularly go there for Snowboarding it’s an amazing place, especially when it has a blanket of snow around late July or early August. By the way, a large portion of our fresh water supply in South Africa comes from Lesotho.

The wonders of this land must be a secret deliberately kept hidden from the world lest too many tourists overrun it and spoil its exquisite beauty! I only knew the name Lesotho, but none of these amazing facts. Up to now, I had believed Mount Kilimanjaro was the only place in Africa with significant amounts of snow. Geography is a badly neglected subject in American school systems!

Morocco and Algeria snow every year and have more snow than lesotho, the coldest temperature ever recorded in Africa was in Ifran city, Morocco at -24°C..Morocco and Algeria are non black countries though, but they have a black minority.
