Less is More (Lift) on a 2022 GMC AT4 or Chevy Trail Boss!

The GMC AT4 and Chevrolet Trail Boss trucks come factory equipped with a taller suspension than the other 1500 pickup truck packages GM offers. When lifting the truck, this has to be factored in when choosing your total suspension height. What's great is we can get a sizable lift and tire on these trucks without compromising on ride quality or altering a long list of suspension components! Hello from El Paso tx. On the original control arm there are some tires sensors attached to it with a hole where the screw goes. The ready lift control arm has a screw attached to it, instead of a hole, what did you guys do there? I don’t know if I explained myself. If you can please explain. Thank you.

I believe the part you're referring to is shown at 3:26 and 4:38 in the video. If you pause it at 0:28 you can see the bracket with those hoses removed and off to the side. If I recall correctly we just attached that bracket to the ReadyLift control arm at the bolt they provide

Nice upgrade. Do you have to recalibrate the cameras, parking and lane keeping assist sensors? Do the headlights need to be re-aimed lower?

We aim the headlights, but the cameras and sensors do not need to be recalibrated

With a 1.75’’ Ready Lift leveling kit can I go to a 285/65/R20 from a 275/60/R20 stock tire without rubbing on my 22 AT4

I have a 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 crew cab 4x4 3.0 diesel Limited with the GM Factory 2 inch lift installed by the dealer. So its the same suspension as the AT4 but I have the GM OE 20 inch wheel/275-60-20. Can I use this kit and can I stay with the OE wheel/tire?

From what we understand, the AT4X has a differently tuned suspension both shocks and springs. ReadyLift does not specifically offer this kit for the AT4X variant, though in theory it would work. It would be best to wait and see what they offer specifically for the X variant, or if they test and approve this kit for that truck. As for the ZR2, any lift option for a 1500 Silverado would work

A 275/65 will fit on the factory 20" Wheel which is a 34.5x11". An aftermarket 9" wide wheel with a +18 offset and trimming, it could potentially fit a 35x12.50, though we'd recommend a bit more lift if that's your goal.

You can fit up to a 275/65 On the factory 20" Wheel which is a 34.5x11". An aftermarket 9" wide wheel with a +18 offset and trimming, a 35x12.50 could conceivably fit though we'd recommend a bit more lift.

A 275/65 tire is not 34.5 x 11, it’s more like a 32 inch tire, 32 and change maybe. You can run up to 285/75 on factory wheels or 295/60 on aftermarket wheels with a zero offset. It’s what Readyift recommends

These GMC trucks are very beautiful, But, these trucks need a lot maintenance though. This is why I'd rather buying a Tundra or Titan - even though, they're not as beautiful as GMC.

That’s not true at all. I own a AT4 and there is a very low maintenance on it do your regular oil changes and regular maintenance like any other vehicle. So heut4384 you don’t know what you’re talking about.

@chakabanaca3772 yes I do, my friend. All GMC (including Ford and Dodge) will need something to fix (ALOT). Our Dodge cars do nothing but going to the dealership for servic.e as well. LOL. As much as I love these GMC trucks, I will no longer support them. Sadly 😥. I work A LOT as much as I do, most of my money are needing something to do maintenance. You are lucky that your's find. Most of us don't.
