At first I purchased a black Salt Supply S2. Then I thought about and said, "no, better play it safe" and picked up the all yellow version for carrying outside the house. And yes, that brings it's own set of tactical issues like the fact the bad guy now knows it's not a real gun etc. There is always a trade off.

@@MultiSkyman1 So true! I converted my TCP to all black years ago. Realism is good if you are in a remote area. For crowded population centers though, I am definitely leaning back toward colored launchers.

This is why both Byrna we have are not black. One is Orange and the other is Yellow so at least the police will see the color and hopefully recognize them as less lethal before anything happens. Now my HDX for home defense is all Black because if your entering my house I want you to think it real long enough to either scare you off or for me to get a bead on you first.

@@Joreel Colored is probably marginally better than black for EDC by careful users. I now believe that too. For anyone with a brandishing mentality however, they both are very dangerous.

@@Joreel Agree. My home launchers are all black.

@@ScaredyCatTacticalVery true which is why I explained to my son extensively when he started carrying one in his backpack to college after his hostage experience that you don't keep it in a pocket that someone will see when you open your backpack to get your books and stuff out. You don't pull it out unless you are very sure you are under a threat you can't talk your way out of or get away from the threat. Thankfully he took what I said seriously and never needed to use it. He still carries it now that he's a Special Education teacher here in Arizona where he's allowed to have it to protect himself or his students if needed. This past school year they had three incidents where kids brought a firearm to school.

One of the reasons I dont carry anything looking like a gun. Good video btw👍

Definitely firearm look-a-likes bring a lot of risk that is not often spoken about in the Less Lethal community. I'm just always trying to keep it real!

@@ScaredyCatTactical Agree. That needs to be talked about more, and less about joules lol.

I carry my Byrna LE all the time. I'm a felon so can't do the real guns. Also have an AEA HP SS that is normally with me in the truck. They go into the back seat or the passenger's floorboard (out of reach) if a cop is around. I don't play stupid games with them.

That's how it's done. 99.99% of users are very responsible.
