With the Dragonflight expansion on the horizon, it’s time we take a look at the stock of dragon characters Blizzard have added to WoW throughout its history. Today we’ll be focusing on several dragons that could be important in the future and that are currently alive in the game. This list is not exhaustive, and while many of these dragons are more obscure, they might play a large part in the Dragonflight expansion, so it’s worth talking about them.

Serinar from the Obsidian Dragonshrine quests from Wrath. Rogues killed Nalice (Ambassador of the Black Dragonflight at the Wyrmrest Temple), so he's kind of the last remaining Black Dragon that we don't know what happened to.

Seldarria is a black dragon broodmother added to the Stonetalon Mountains in Cataclysm. Like Andrestraz, she's always sleeping. There are quests to kill some of her kids, but not her, so she could theoretically have escaped Wrathion's purge and survived. There's also Goriona, Blackhorn's twilight drake mount, who flees after the gunship battle in the Dragon Soul raid, who should be out there somewhere. Not to mention the Netherwing dragons.

There is 1 really weird 1 I think you missed: The Failed Experiment from Blackwing Descent. To my knowledge the only living Twilight Dragon remaining since the Shaman Order Hall in Legion, added in BFA and rescued by Wrathion found injured after being experimented on by the Old God's forces. The insane thing about this Twilight Dragon unlike literally every other Twilight Dragon is that this one is friendly and after you stop the Old God's experiments offers to fly you back to Silithus. Yea, for some reason there is a friendly Twilight Dragon that is presumably under the care/protection/watch of Wrathion.

Anachronos is probably the most well known if you played Vanilla. All the times people would kite him to Org. And at a threshold he says "No its not time" and teleports back to outside of caverns of time(which you can glitch into but its only one room with a bed and stars as a back ground).

Okay, Kirygosa's position is VERY understated here. I know it's just list, but it's worth mentioning that her and Kalecgos aren't "Just Friends", they can be considered best friends and quite tightly so. Kalec went to her several times throughout the Proudmoore Novel and is basically his most trusted kin to go to when he struggles with something. I can't really see her showing up in Dragonflight due to how she basically said, she wanted to live quietly in a warmer climate, but maybe she felt compelled to join her kin in the Dragon Isles.

I am surprised you didn't include Vustrasz from the Kobolds and Catacombs Dungeon Run, he's an ancient red dragon who guards a massive treasure hoard, and it's all but states that Marin the Fox stole his own iconic treasure chest from this dragon.

A couple things (and a beta spoiler) Nozari and Andormu are not children of Nozdormu. Pretty sure Anachronos is the only known one Wrathion does not know about Sabellian Hearthstone lore isn't canon so Reno may be a dragon or he may not be, who knows

Also there are a couple dragons who have appeared in books but never in game like Kirygosa. Would be cool to see them Horakastrasz, a dragon that appeared in War of The Ancients and Zarasz, a dragon who couldn't fly because his wings were malformed in Day of the Dragon

Out this whole video for me personally the highlight was seeing nyhm have a npc. Soon as hiru said his name sooooo many amazing memories came flooding back. Watching and listening to ni hao and assassinate was my favorite especially when pvping lol ahhh good ol nostalgia

Let me tell you about the war of the shifting sands again. After sealing Ahn'Qiraj off, there were 3 dragons that were locked in with the Qiraji and only freed after we killed N'Zoth. Two of those are dead. Arygos, son of Malygos worked together with Deathwing to become the next blue Aspect during the legendary Staff questline and was killed. Caelestrasz, son of Alexstraza sacrificed himself in the Twilight Bastion raid against Sinestra. The only remaining of the tree is Merithra. While she is now de facto leader of the green flight, it should be considered that she was confined right next to an old god for centuries.

There's nothing to indicate that the WoW Manga where Tyrygosa appears in isn't canon. Only the Warcraft RPG and the Med'an comic aren't canon.

I have a suggestion for a future Unknown Side of WoW In Outland Shadowmoon Valley at Netherwing Ledge on the opposite side of the island from the Dragonmaw Base Camp, there's are two floating islands and on the closer of which is an elite named Or'kaos the Insane who runs in circles in his attack animation. He has the same model and look as the Dragonmaw Ascendants who roam around on Netherwing Ledge aside from the fact that he wears golden armor instead. He has a respawn timer of about 2 minutes and his drops seem to be only silver and netherweave cloth.

Andrestrasz could possibly share inspiration with the card "Sleepy Dragon" in Hearthstone, which is also a sleeping red dragon. These could both be paying homage to the same thing, but what that thing is, I don't know.

Pyrricion, a Black Drake, possibly a Black Dragon now, that fights the Dragonmaw in wetlands and rages about them stealing black whelps. Since he isn't killed by players it's not unlikely that he's still around, caring for the flights young. Also, there's all the nether drakes/dragons that are an offshoot of the Black Dragons, they could make a reappearance too, maybe advance the Outland situation a bit.

I think Tyrygosa’s manga are still considered canon. I can’t find anything stating they aren’t and they fill in two chunks of lore when it comes to the sunwell and malygos regaining his sanity.

I hope they don't forget about Anachronos or retcon his position as heir of Nozdormu, he's often overlooked for Chromie who is easily more recgonizable, we may see Nozdormu become Murozond, it'd make sense for his heir to actually be in the story, same with Kirygosa with the focus on the blues being rebuilding the blue dragonflight.

I think I remember reading somewhere that Sabellian either avoided much of the Old God madness or "got better" due to his extended time in Outland. Similar to how Ebyssian remains sane while in Highmountain. At any rate, the Old Gods are canonically all dead now, so hopefully the Black Dragonflight can recover? Are there any remaining black dragon eggs?

That might be where Sebellian comes in. He was tearing whelps in Outland where (presumably) the old god’s voices could not reach them, so it’s likely that he and those whelps could be sane and kept that way by Wrathion’s potions the same way he did for Ebonhorn when he started to slip from exposure

I'm wondering how far ago this video was recorded and made because up to 2:12 about Wrathion and Sebellion so far, makes it seem that Hiru hasn't looked up beta footage from the first zone, at least, if he was researching the part about Seb and Wrath meeting, so I'm going to assume that this video was planned to be released earlier or, in an attempt not to be spoiled, didn't look up spoilers, but I'm betting on an earlier release of this video because I doubt Hiru would not have had the beta invite by now xD
