I have so much to say Sarah and I'm afraid you'll want me to shut up already! this has to be one of the very best wls yt videos ever. You have such a beautiful way with words. what an incredible letter to you. your letter shows how much you worked on you prior to surgery. it shows how much desire for freedom you had, despite having no idea what wls could bring. congratulations on every single tiny particle of love of self that you have gained. the caterpillar is so cliche because it is so perfect. it is just like that. every day I am shocked by yet another discovery of how my weight affected me, my life and my family. Hi! I am amazed u had such foresight a year ago. Love how u said being strong enough to admit failure, and brave enough to do something about it--cuz that the key--we have to always be willing even when the "fight" makes us weary. At least, I think so.

I am so happy for you and your success! I have been hopscotching around your vlogs for the last little while trying to get as much info as possible. I recently started the pre-op process - blood work, psych eval, etc. I am really interested in learning more about why you chose Mexico and that facility. I have considered going to Mexico myself as it is MUCH cheaper than where I am looking to have it done. If you have talked about the why before just point me in the right direction. :) I have watched your vlogs when you were in surgery etc. and read your blogs about it. Any info would help. :D Thanks again for your honest account of this process...I hope to be free one day too.

That's Sarah. I think it's such a great idea to write yourself a letter. I love it and will do that for myself as well. I have gone back and watched many of your videos and have learned a lot. Some of my favorites are this one, the one with your hubby and the one with Nerd in Oregon. I have my first consultation with my surgeon. I am excited, but fearful. Do you have any suggestions for questions I should ask him at the first consultation? Thank you for your help and keep it up!
