So good to see you and it was nice to connect last week. My experience is that there is a ton of support here regardless of where you are in the "journey." I made videos consistently since the first week and struggled with so much along the way including regain. The only times I've been tempted not to make a weekly update was due to regain. But I did it anyway. And the support was always there and I think Because I know people are watching and supporting me I think that kept my regain at a minimum. There is always a place for you and people further along in the journey. We need those people. Like I told you ... had the best compliment last week when someone told me I was their sarah Spano:). So happy to see your beautiful face!

I'm so glad u are back!!!! I've been continuing to make videos this last 5 years - a few times a week - so it makes me happy to have some "others" to be talking about Regain the good and the bad!!! There r very few of us that have continued to make video - people get tired of hearing my shit - I think but it is what it is and I'm real and I want people to know - Regain is a real thing and u can survive! Love u!

So glad to see your face on the you tubes again. It is such a relief to have other people coming out about their regain struggles. For so long I felt like I was going through this alone and no one was interested in my story. I'm here for you if you need an ear. Maybe a hangout with the old gang is in order. Tell Chris hi for me.

WOW So glad to see you again. 3 yrs out & gained 30ish so determined to get back to low weight from last summer (152lbs 5 ft 8) I got lazy, not watching what & when I eat so have to get back to basics. All of you inspire me (Lauren, Tanya, Sara's etc) Might do Keto as that's what makes me feel the best. Welcome back!

I, for one, find the "veteran" videos super important. I'm only 7 months out, so I'm still in the honeymoon phase. I'm not borrowing trouble, but I feel like the losing is going to be the easy part. I understand that regain is a reality, so I want to file away how the people who are more experienced than I am cope with it. It can't be coincidence that so many successful WLSers struggle with regain once they are in maintenance. So, the question is how do we work through it? I see LaurenLosing, FatKings Phil, Tanya, and now you, have all dealt with it so well -- so, being able to hear how cope is incredibly helpful. So THANK YOU for coming back! We need you and hope you need us too!

I'm so glad to see you back! Some of us never even reached our goal weight before the re-gain started and you're absolutely right... there's a LOT of shame associated with that. I had my sleeve surgery in Jan 2014. 2014 and early 2015 was a great time for me but the last two years have been a huge struggle. I'm so happy to see people who were more "successful" than me talk about this. I really need to hear what you have to say. I still haven't given up and I think, like you, I wouldn't change anything. I thought I had beat my food addiction and would never have to deal with it again. But in the last two years I've learned this is my reality forever and that's ok... I can still love myself and my body while I continue to do better, out of love for myself. But in the meantime, I can still be happy and sexy and confident and active and enjoy life. Going to check out Phil's video now too. Thanks for coming back!

So great to see you again Sarah! I met you in Hampton NH at the beach house a couple years ago. You have been such an inspiration to myself and this community. You were the first person I started watching. I'm 3 yrs out and just started to have regain. The struggle is real. I thought at 3 yrs I was in the clear but now that's not the case. I'm up 10lbs and scared to death of gaining it all back. It will be great to have the old group back making videos. I did not make many but would watch everyone and learned so much from you and the veterans. Say hello to Gooch for me. If you come back to Boston/NH again it would be great to see you both again. Best, Laurie

You were always and still are a huge inspiration to me. I look forward to continuing to seeing how you meet these struggles and rock this! Awesome job on the 30 pounds!!! I hope someday I'll get a chance to meet you! Thank you for jumping back in. You are going to help so many people get remotivated!!! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💗😘💗😘💗

You were a big part of my journey! I'm glad to join you on the veterans bench now! I'm 2 years out and just starting to notice some pounds creeping back on. I would absolutely support your new videos, and would like to hear more about your regain and the actions/thoughts that were a part of it, and the thoughts and actions you are doing now taking off some of it. Also....your comments about not feeling like you 'fit' the community or the goals/expectations....you are speaking directly to me! I never reached a goal or even close to one, and absolutely never conformed to expected norms.

I would love to know if you have meal suggestions! one of the things so difficult for me is figuring out what to eat now, because protein shakes and yogurt don't cut it anymore for me! I am 3 years out and regained about 60lbs after pregnancy, and it has been a huge hurdle to try to get the scale moving in a downward direction again.

I am excited to see more videos from you, I am a newbie and I loved all your previous videos. I started from the beginning and watched them all. I will still watch your new video even though it may seem like you are taking about things not relevant to me. I like how you think and it is refreshing to hear different perspectives on things. I don't think it is ever too early to learn things from people who are much farther out.

Please discuss regain in details. I lost 130lbs without surgery, but I have gained about 60lbs back in the last 2 years. I have also seen others that have lost a lot weight (some with surgery and some without) regain their weight, but no one ever talks about it. I'm not sure how I feel about it, except that I don't like, and I'm trying hard to loss some of it, again.

So glad to see this post. A bit behind I know! I'm 3 years and almost 8 months out. I've had a little regain, but am dealing with other issues at this point - potential ulcer, stopped taking my supplements and ended up having iron infusions, some challenges with alcohol...etc. I am happy to be back on and so thankful that some of the vets are still out there and supporting each other. Really happy for you and Chris and can't wait to see your progress. 30 lbs two months ago...can't wait to watch rest of the videos.
