very nice - and Maestro was great too. I like mixing sometimes stepping toes pointing forward, sometimes to the side- helps gives my kua a bit of exercise:)

This helped me so much, I was getting so frustrated with the part wild horses mane, but it was just because my foot placement was so off!

lol Maestro is funny.....love your videos. Just started at a tai chi class and they've just finished this form so this is helping me catch up. The setting, your pace and relaxed presentation are really nice and I like how to break it all down into the details :)

Hello. Are you wearing climbing slippers or a strong ballet type of shoe. They look comfortable. Thank you for the walk. Mario

This video was made several years ago. I no longer use those shoes. They are sort of a water shoe. I now use Softstar shoes made out of 100% leather. They are soft, supple but have enough grip. They are a bit pricey but well worth it!

@@InternalTaiChi Thanks. I have broad feet, great for balance but not easy to find comfortable footwear. Will look out for Softstar shoes. I have just completed learning Sun 73 form by Zoom classes and often refer to your video. Love the smile at the very end!

@@mariocurtis2208 Thank you, Mario! Yes, if we don't feel like smiling afterward, what is the point?!? It should make us glow from the inside out. Softstar hand makes their shoes. They are in Oregon. I think you'll be happy with them! Best of luck to you. Please feel free to visit my page and take a single free live stream class from me. taichisusan.com

Think about water going from one leg into another. When you put your foot down the water is still in the other leg, at this point you are only testing the water. Then you put your foot down all the way, the water is flowing from the one leg into the other. Then you step, test the water, then step all the way, the water is flowing into that leg, now its full and you start over.

Yes, your the water analogy is a great way to visualize and sense weight shift. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I do not use music due to copyright restrictions. You can choose your own music and put it on while doing the movements. :-)

All Tai Chi is not serious....it is great to have a bit of serendipity as we learn. Maestro is a standard poodle and he loves to be on video as well as to help me teach Tai Chi.
