The PMG is the power source for the exciter alternator's field windings. Basically, replace the "A.C. IN" and transformer symbol portion of the diagram with the output of the PMG.

Sir, We don't understand why speed of the Turbine decreases when Electrical load increases on Alternator, please explain briefly with examples

Here is my rudimentary understanding: When electrical loads are added to the generator, the larger current demanded causes the voltage to drop. The exciter senses the decrease in output voltage and increases field current to restore the voltage. As the voltage is being restored at the higher current the magnetic field induced in the stator increases. This larger induced magnetic field in the stator opposes the rotating magnetic field of the generator field and tends to slow it down. Sensing the lower shaft speed, the prime mover's governor controller responds by increasing mechanical torque (e.g. via steam turbine governor valve opening, hydro turbine wicket gate opening, gas turbine fuel valve opening, etc.).

A question: what is the benefit of converting the control signal (of Field Voltage Regulator) to DC first and then inverting back to AC (by the brushless exciter), instead of applying the AC control signal directly to the diode?

Good question Actually the DC is not inverted to AC, in fact the AC is induced in the exciter. It is a small AC generator with the field and armature windings swapped between the stator and the rotor (since you need to supply the voltage in the rotor).

He means voltage transformer (or PT, potential transformer). You're monitoring the voltage, not the current.
