It's so handy to have accents to indicate how a word should sound and to differentiate between similarly spelled words. In English you are just thrown in and have to figure it out for yourself. You have reading and Reading, polish and Polish, wind and wind, tears and tears, etc, etc...

Got very confused that my pronunciation of Père and other è words must have been wrong all along after reading the book, however upon watching the video I've realised that Scottish people like myself don't pronounce Fair the same way as english people haha! I still did not notice the subtle difference (at least for me as a non native French speaker) between E grave and E Aigu. may you clarify to me which one ( E grave and E Aigu) is considered low sound and which is high sound as you mentioned at around minute 6:18 in the lesson. You can't imagine how beneficial and easy your lessons are. Thank a lot.

There is no difference, it might be the stress that you hear but there is no différence :)

That's because you don't have these sounds in your language probably so your ear can't differentiate them :) Sometimes it takes some time but you will be able to hear them at one point :)
