Shen Zhou's Techniques and Composition
As you review the demo, pay close attention to the techniques of embracing curvature (隨形 - Suixing) and transforming nature (變形 - Bianxing). These principles will guide you in aligning landscape features with the fan's arc and creatively interpreting natural elements to fit the fan's unique shape.
Calligraphy Integration
Remember to thoughtfully incorporate calligraphy into your landscape, as Shen Zhou did in his works. The poetic line 此心安處是吾鄉 ("Where the heart is at ease, there is home") is a beautiful example of how text can be seamlessly integrated into the artwork.
