Hi I've been using simply piano for about 6 months I realize that the app cannot teach rhythm correctly I was in choir through my school years I but was never good at sight reading I bought faber piano adventures level 1 my rhythm was way off because the app corrects you thank you so much I'm living on a fixed income so I can't afford lessons you are truly amazing

Hi Lisa. Your lectures are so detailed and easy to follow. You’ve done a great work. I have a question and would love to hear advice from you. I noticed that your left pinky is straight at the middle joint, and I have the exact same problem. All of my other fingers can form a firm and stable arch, but my left pinky is completely different. It collapses whenever I press the key and is very unstable. I have done some research and it seems that the issue has nothing to do with the finger strength . Some people was born with it, and it is often referred to as hyper-mobile or double-jointed (about 10% of the population). I would like to ask if in your case, do you experience any difficulty with your left pinky? And do you have any tips to solve it? Thanks a lot.

Thanks for the question! I don't have any issue with the pinkie when playing piano. But, when playing guitar it can be an issue as it sometimes locks straight when extended to reach a low guitar string and it's tricky to get it curved again quickly to play a high string! So, when I play guitar I put some kinesiology tape on it to help it relax to a curve.
