So who is the one she is with now but is not her husband? How does that make sense in your interpretation?

Isaiah 54:5, God is our husband. Samaritan woman did not have relationship with God although she considered herself as the true descendant of Jacob. When Jesus revealed this to her she immediately began to ask about the place of worship.

You're confusing concepts...isn't this a literal account of an encounter with Jesus? Why are you purporting that the passage isn't literal? I'm led to question your interpretation and your associates are just yessing your interpretation

Because Jesus promises water to Samaritan woman. This is not a literal water.

Jesus answer did not represent Jewish way o worshiping but how we should worship. In spirit and the truth, because God is Spirit.
