If it were not for the Sabbath some of us would work ourselves to death, literally. I'm one of them Proper Sabbath observance constrains us to STOP and smell the roses, so to speak, and in so doing worship the Creator through His handiwork. Of course, more importantly Sabbath does offer the opportunity to worship our Creator personally and corporately. It allows us to fellowship with like-minded believers in corporate worship, and in sharing a meal together sometimes encouraging each other. I could not thank and praise the Lord enough for the Sabbath. I so enjoy it. Happy Sabbath, EVERYONE, when it comes!

Sunday laws are already at hand. In Germany, there is the Ladenschlussgesetz or "Shop Closing Law" . It's interesting to note that pubs and restaurants are exceptions. So, it's ok to buy and sell liquor on Sunday.

The message of the Sabbath can provide answers to the great questions of life in a few different ways. Firstly, the Sabbath is a reminder of creation. According to the Bible, God created the world in six days and rested on the seventh day. Observing the Sabbath can help us understand where we came from and how we got here. It reminds us that we are not here by accident, but rather that we were intentionally created by a loving God. Secondly, the Sabbath can help us understand why we are here. It is a time to rest and reflect on the meaning and purpose of our lives. It provides an opportunity to focus on our relationships with God, with others, and with ourselves. The Sabbath is spoken of in the new testament..especially mattew 24.when He said..pray that His coming is not on the Sabbath day..there the Sabbath is kept until the world ends..thank you very much..and when He returns and chooses His people they will continue to keep the Sabbath day holy

These days the argument is that Saturday was the Sabbath but after Jesus's death it was changed to Sunday and that is why Paul didn't mention it

Exodus 31:14 “Therefore you are to keep the Sabbath, for it is holy to you. The sabbath is in the Old testament and Christians are in the New testament, so the Sabbath doesn't apply to us. God made the old or Mosaic covenant for Israel and we're the Church and NOT Israel. The body of Christ didn't come out from Egypt like Israel did but our New Covenant is established on the cross. Col2:16-17 the weekly Sabbath is a mere shadow but the Substance which is Christ had appear, the Lord of the Sabbath, thus the weekly Sabbath has become OBSOLETE . Thank you.
