I dont think anyone was trying to discourage you; we just want to prepare you for the fact that when people transition into married family life - their priorities change. They have less time for friends, and the majority of their time is redirected to their spouse and children. We that are single and over 30 years of age have all experienced this. But you are correct in that Jesus will not leave you alone; He will bring others into your life that will allow you to thrive in a way that honors Him and will give you joy, fulfillment and purpose. You are also correct that we should live in the moment - tomorrow has its own issues and is not promised to us anyway. Jesus knows our tomorrow and he has a hope and future for us that is working together for our good.

Hi Mr.Bigguy. I know you weren't trying to discourage me, however despite intentions, certain words can naturally bring up feelings of discouragement. Regardless, I am very grateful for my older brothers and sisters who struggle with SSA and you all serve as an encouragement to me to know that God is going to take care of me no matter what. Straight up here no BS. Jack, I Do Hope you find Love one day. I Do Hope to see you someday in the future with a loving committed partner. BUT I will also say this. If you feel like a lifetime of singleness is YOUR calling, then that is YOUR thing and YOUR thing alone and I respect that. Love other gay brothers and sisters in Christ for Who They Are and recognize that if you feel Singleness is YOUR PERSONAL CALLING, that does not mean its the calling for other people in your shoes. I hope you were not referring to me when you mentioned "Bad intentions". Love you Brother Jack.

Hello Javier, I have never demanded singleness from other SSA brothers and sisters. I have always said our walk with God is not a one size fits all. Rather, I encourage people to walk according to the way we have been called. And not, I was not referring to you when I said people with bad intentions. God bless!

2023 was not a bad year for me i grew a lot saw lots of movies (Oppenheimer and mission impossible being my favorites) and i left it better than i started out 2024 will bring some good changes such as transferring to a different school that wont be easy but they will be worth it. Praying for you to have a wonderful year jack!
