This is really good- if only it were so simple, eh? It is really all about the money and a misguided attempt to raise awareness. I am in no way defending agencies, but sometimes in their attempt to raise money, find families, whatever their reasons, there are laws of unintended consequences. At the end of the day, very few people really seem to have the best interest of the child at heart. Disruptions in adoption very often stem from attatchment issues and a lack of proper training for families adopting older children. When these situations occur, parents are very often left to play social worker, finding new families, etc...we have been on both sides of disruptions and have seen some stuff. You might like my video on disruptions (if you haven't seen it). I subbed to your channel...not sure what your plans are with it, but it is a nice way for us to connect. Let me know if we can help at all. 😉😊❤

Yes...we have adopted via disruption. It is so messy when attachment isn't happening and families don't know what to do with those emotions.

I have a few things in mind for the channel. A friend of mine and I have a project starting, and there is a documentary coming out about our family this spring (Just waiting to get though Axel's graduation as that footage will complete it.) I also do stand up comedy, so..well...really I need three different channels. LOL Have you been to my blogs? I rarely write anymore, as I just don't have time. Our main blog is gardenofeagan.blogspot.com and our adoption blog is myianna.blogspot.com that has all our kids' adoption stories.
