I'm so sorry, Lorna. You have a very difficult situation to find trust. But this you can be sure of...which doesn't relieve the pain or loneliness...but does bring hope: "I have been deprived of peace; I have forgotten what prosperity is. So I say, 'My splendor is gone and all that I had hoped from the LORD.' I remember my affliction and my wandering, the bitterness and the gall. I well remember them, and my soul is downcast within me. Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, 'The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.' The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD" (Lam. 3:17-26). May the Lord, dear Lorna, walk with you and make His presence known to you as you seek to find His hope in these days. My heart goes out to you in your situation. Know that I have paused to pray for you, and asked the Lord to give you His peace.

Bless you. I am so sorry to read this. You certainly have difficult circumstances to find a place of trust. Our hearts go out to you here at Revive Our Hearts. We are grateful that we can entrust you to the One who cares--not One who is paid to care--but One who Himself paid to show His care. I know it doesn't ease the physical ache of someone to take note of your suffering and the pain of loneliness, but I encourage you to turn your eyes to Him. His faithfulness is sure and He offers to carry the load with you. "Casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you" (1 Pet 5.:7). Praying for you this night.

18 years! YES 18 years of trying to get disability for severe chronic pain and illnesses and just turned down AGAIN this week! Born and raised in America! Alone no husband. Depending on abusive family. Grown kids don’t believe in God and mock me and are into all kinds of wickedness. Poor little grandson being raised in chaos. Live in a HORRIBLE neighborhood on highway and airport and massive on going noise ( i am extremely bothered by noise especially with my illness) and an old run down mobile home with paper thin walls. No friends. Makes no sense! I am 53 its been WAY too long! It isn’t growing my faith it is wearing me out and making me more and more sick 💔 I live in severe pain, losing all my hair, every day my life gets worse. This hasn’t just been a season! And now with whats going on in the world I have no way to prepare or stock up and no protection on earth. I pray all day and night for the salvation of my kids and they are only growing further into the world! Everything in my life is scary and depressing. Been asking to be moved only 30 mins from where I am away from the abuse and also noise etc and closer to shops etc . Been asking and praying since 2011 🤷‍♀️ had to live in so many bad situations with fleas ticks (now I have lymes, sleeping on floors, making my severe pain worse getting bit by bedbugs , living with cigarette smoke that made me have a distorted smell and taste for the rest of my life now as of seven years ago. Prayed and prayed and prayed for a home and then I got a the rundown in this horrible neighborhood with absolute, horrible, horrible neighbor neighbors! It just NEVER ENDS. I was living with mold for years and years in this trailer and breathing and sewer, gas, and getting disoriented because the person who owns it wouldn’t fix it. They’ve partially fixed it just a few weeks ago. I honestly can’t believe this is my life.!
