You look like you had so much fun but I am so scared for college haha (I'm going to Johns Hopkins and I feel like I won't be able to do anything fun). I know you joined a dance club/team and you seemed so happy :) What other clubs (or activities) did you join?

don't be scared! haha I have a few friends at jh and they really enjoy it. work is tough at all these schools, but balancing the right classes you'll definitely have time to do extracurriculars and be social and all that esp freshman year. haha I joined legit 4 extracurriculars my freshman year haha and I was fine

Hi, thanks so much for your videos. I noticed you did dance. Are there dance troupes which do not require auditions/ previous experience? And for those which require auditions, how do they work?

hey no problem! and yes there are 2 contemporary and 2 hip hop that require auditions where you basically audition for all of them in one long day and go through multiple rounds of elimination and by the end you'll find out if you're in one of them or none of them. there's also street soul, the only open dance group on campus that is simultaneously a performance group and an open club!

no problem! basically, a full day is used to learn pieces from every group and they watch you perform them. After, you're called back to whichever ones want you and you do a short solo for them. Then is the final round where the groups that want you teach you a harder piece of choreo and basically do what they did first round. After that, you find out which group you made it into:)
