I did more when I was single than when I'm married. I remember being told single people are the busiest people and married people have more time. I even sometimes think of my single days and wish I could go back for just a year. I travelled solo, zumba, hiking, solo dates, all sorts of things that kept me busy. Being single was one of the best times of my life. What I miss most about being single is the ability to just plan a trip and go. Take time off work to go to a concert without thinking of who and who. As long as there is gas in the car and $$$, we go, we go.

In that lonely discussion, I think people also need to understand that they may not necessarily be lonely, they're just alone. It's kinda like confusing peace with boredom when you're acquainted with chaos. The mind is a sponge and can't really distinguish delusion from reality... only what you feed it. If you read this, I hope you do the internal work.

Relationship is not mechanical, life is always a test. Empathy is supreme in a relationship. But most of all, we are there to help each other with our imperfections in a relationship. Do not compare your relationship to that of another, simply work on your own. Always remember to forgive your partner when they wrong you. Hi Jule, you and your friends are simply adorable ❤

I think she's speaking from a single person's perspective #situational...she hasn't been in a situation where there concrete things that tie two pple together like kids. Single pple & married/in long term r/s pple tend to view things thru a different lens. She can always change her mind. Evolving is real...we grow, we change!

Let's talk abit about this word easy... In my personal life, truly I do not think 90% of my "good things" or reward from mother earth came easy. As a woman, I actually have to take a very long munute or month to truly think about my cost-benefit analysis... Yaay I got to this kind of salary BUT I lost touch with friendships because I was working 16 hour days... oh my partner ln love did the math and we can't wait to have the 4 kids we planned now that his salary is X Amount and we will live the soft life, even though my career has to have taken a back burrner for birthing and being a key caretaker for these veloved kids...my point - What is easy? Where does it go one we are dissapointed by the sheer lack of easiness in anything

I think there's a difference between being lonely and alone.. loniless is a signal from your inner man trying to reach out for connection. Most people are afraid of their own company and that's why they seek companionship externally. It's ok to feel lonely, just remember that when you do,don't run away from it, allow yourself to feel it,and go through it. Only then shall you overcome the feeling.

I loved the show. Thank guys for being real. This is what we want in our society. My love language has been consistence communication, When I lack this I Feel am not at peace. I wish to meet someone who talks and knows how to express her self. I understand someone more when they talk, that's when you know if these people are serious or not. The main thing have gotten is that people have a tendency of carrying expectations from one relationship to the other, when these expectations are not meet, you just call it off. We need to understand people are not the same, the way you were treated from your previous life, it may be different from your current life.
@gamwani2 жыл бұрын
Wow Murugi when you talked about going off to live abroad/ Uni - i was saying My goodness this is my story too (except no kid). When one grows, you are not always growing together with your partner and I truly believe (if possible) everyone should leave their home country, town or even culture to truly discover themselves. There is always a cost to self-discovery and after the discovery the actions and acceptance. Sometimes the cost of such growth or eye opening, is so painful or just not worth it BUT how can you know unless you try it? For me personally it’s much more bearable to walk in this life saying I have my answers as to where I am at versus what if this what if that.

Lydia's self awareness, powerful.
