Today we're taking a look at the Civivi Elementum Utility Knife! A staple in anyone's EDC kit should be a Razor Utility knife! This helps to avoid tearing up your normal EDC pocket knife in instances where you're cutting material that quickly dulls your blade, or would otherwise ruin your pocket knife. The Civivi Elementum Utility Knife is just the tool for the job boasting dimensions of 1.24 inches (top), 2.36 inches (bottom), 0.74 inches wide, and 0.02 inches thickness, making it compatible with most blades of similar size. Its stainless steel blade holder ensures secure blade locking without any movement. Crafted from aircraft-grade aluminum, the knife provides a comfortable and secure grip with grooves and a flip guard, enabling precise control. I wish you would have actually tried a standard razor blade for confirmation? Civivi branded blades seem to hint otherwise? I'll stick with my Milwaukee Fastback which does more and is over half the price.

They didn't just change the blade. The handle is smaller than the original.

Eh, I give em an 8.5 outta 10 on this one. 3 options on deploying it but still gotta use a tool to swap blades? .............Swing and a miss. I've ordered mine from Atlantic Knife and look forward to using it because I still believe it's the best one handed use utility knife available out there. Just gotta wonder why no knurled thumb screw for blade retention or spare blade storage inside the frame.

Honestly, that would be the only improvement that I'd make (so far). A knurled thumb screw would be the way to go. I actually wonder if I could find a small one on McMaster Carr... .hmmmm. Thanks for watching/commenting!

Ok it’s very “pretty “ but how does it do after cutting up a bunch of heavy cardboard ? Does the blade even stay in the frame ? That is an expensive utility knife so it should hold up to heavy use. How about getting back to us when you have done your homework and can really tell us if it’s a good buy or not.
