I think the “Siri, pause” moment is actually when Lestat realizes that it’s not a hallucination of Louis and he’s actually alive and there - the look on his face and the inhale. Sam said Lestat thought he had been dead since 1973.

I love the way he holds his practice board like a shield. Just looking at it, he's been seeking solitude with it for so long. The wood is worn from years of playing and looks like it's painted with blood? His blood? It's heartbreaking to see how confused and fearful he is as Louis approaches whilst trying to show some pride. He genuinely doesn't know what Louis will do and it scares him. It's so tragic. I'm so happy they reconcile. Wish I could time travel to the next season! Its going to be amazing!

Ok but…I love and hate him here… I feel bad for him because he looks so fragile…but in the books he didn’t want to be at the trial…whereas here it seems he purposefully doomed Claudia and did want her to die just now maybe regrets it …. and I can’t help but hate him for that…very disappointed the show went that direction…because I doubt that will be rewritten/changed for season 3 😭….I’m pretty sure Louis and Armand’s convo with Lestat in the dungeon was real and not manipulations from Armand…it looks to me like Armand did NOT torture Lestat at all even though they left some hints in the trial that made it seem so like his mind was distorted I’m confused and angry about what to think now…..… but honestly I’m also way too excited for Rockstar Lestat I think, to stop watching.

When there was that scene of Lestat in Magnus’ dungeon and Louis accused him of coming all that way to murder his daughter for the trial… and Lestat said nothing ..I thought maybe they were retconning it or leaving it purposefully a mystery.
