The first time I saw a Jackal, it was in that same big room, it was the last Jackal you killed. I heard the siren (didn't know what the noise was), and saw him port in to the middle of the room, then walk off in the oppsite direction. I got my piddly little lvl 25 fighter out of there fast! I only knew who he was because I had just been introduced to them less than an hour before. Saw him, saw the lvl 200 above his head, ran for the elevator! LOL

Daniel Hermoso Kinda impossible not to cheese them when they do far more damage then your fighters have HP. Unless you have maximum durability on the absolute strongest weapon and a defense strong enough to prove Trump right in his walls, the Jackals weapons will just outright kill you. Straight combat is impossible against them, you have to use shrooms to stand a chance. The only reason Jackal Y didn't kill him was because he ran out of ammo for his gun and had to fight with fists, which is WAY better then the others. But I digress, I have much to learn and perhaps i'm full of fecal matter. Either way i'm fine with this tactic

Iron Dante after meet the jackals or beat the Boss of floor 10 you can buy fighters of rank 2 (Max lvl 49 after a few floors uncle death send a message saying that you can buy New fighters if You have slots you can buy them of rank 3 etc

dricsi07 You gotta get real close if your gonna use the knife. Kinda leaves you open. Shotgun is more for crowd control cause you can knock down enemies. I'd go with a striker.

AmnesiaBat Don't know the names unfortunately but one gives 15% more Atk and DEF when at full health(far left), Increases slashing damage by 10% (left), 50% more stamina(right), and 20% more damage on enemies below 70% of Max hp (far right). No idea what that middle one is. Sorry I couldn't be of more help
