OMG. So Great. This bring back the old memories of my childhood. I have payed 20DM for the Soundtrack-LP, only to have "Let it run" which not was released as a single. Hmm, think i have it on CD meanwhile... Thank you Jeff, you made my Childhood!

Oh man... found this on vinyl a couple months ago... a real triumphant moment... I knew every word when i played it at the bar... everyone looked at me like I was crazy... I didn't care... it was my moment and my moment alone... closely followed by "What position My Position was in" and then "Futures so bright, I gotta wear shades"... REPRESENT!!!

I'm so glad I saw this when I was getting Video. I forgot about this song. "It's my party and moles you're not invited," popped in my head instantly.

Jeff Lynne recorded this song for the soundtrack to the movie Electric Dreams. Unfortunately, neither this song nor Video (from the same soundtrack) have been released on CD or via online download stores.

This is just a short clip from the song. The full-length version is absolutely fantastic! The full length version has an amazing guitar solo and a few more verses. You can get the Electric Dreams soundtrack on cd.

As it turns out, the soundtrack CD was only made in the UK and was not officially available in the US. Luckily, I was recently able to obtain a used imported copy of it at Newbury Comics. I would guess that it can be found at other CD stores that carry some imports. It appears that Amazon carries it as well.
