I like your solution! However I’m thinking how is it actually feeling to work on the kitchen in front of the entrance. In Russia we are not allowed to build staircases in the darkness anyway as it is the only fire escape passage, so I have never met this problem, your organization is though pretty nice.

Hej Simon. The owners turned the old kitchen into a media room. Keeping the tv away from the combined dining and living room. And creating a small hide away for reading books.
