This is a difficult and serious decision for women. No woman normally enjoys getting an abortion. In order to prevent it, men especially must take the lead to prevent unintended pregnancies and abortion. Women should also be allowed to exercise their reproductive rights.

I am not sure what you mean by, at that level however your statement is far from the true. Human life begins at conception! According to proven research; 'the biological line of existence of each individual, without exception begins precisely when fertilization of the egg is successful' "Development of the embryo begins at Stage 1 when a sperm fertilizes an oocyte and together they form a zygote." Jeremiah 1:5 said, 'Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee'. Based on this scripture I believe we have a soul even before we were conceived. I believe killing of a life is wrong at whatever stages that life may be; whether at conception , during conception or at birth. In the western world, they are now pushing for termination after birth and in some cases weeks, months and years after birth - when does this maddest stop? As an American, it's unfathomable to have to ask your partner for permission to terminate a pregnancy. Even though it takes two people to create life, it is the woman who has the gift to carry a baby. Ultimately, it's the woman's decision whether or not to terminate a pregnancy.

It's sad that people are making jokes about this very serious issue. If they did not have children at all will they take the decision that they are proposing to take? Human beings are self centered me included. Men and women in and out of marriage should have some self control. If they are not ready to have children they should limit their sexual activities In the past I used to be of the 'my body, my right' camp but not anymore . Children are precious.
