Bastien wrote this with a few friends years ago about personal issues. He and Tim altered the lyrics a bit to make it applicable to a slightly wider group. This song has some real dynamics that show off HF's abilities really well. Bastien's voice IS different from Austin's, but he really does blend with the others as well as Austin did. People will get used to him, just like they got used to Chance when he took Chris' place. HF has known Bastien longer than they did Austin, so they definitely did not choose him blindly. There are three originals on their newest Christmas album. The others were written/ co-written by Tim and they are also great. Any Kind of Christmas will make you smile - as will Tim's rendition of the Grinch! So far there are no (official) videos of either of them, but I do believe there is a Grinch one coming.

Adam Bastien aka Bastien ( bass like the fish -teen ) wrote this heart wrenching song. Bastien is an amazing addition to the group. I love his voice . I'm always amazed by Adam's "drums"! Beautiful song - had no idea that it was a Bastien original until I read the comment by @LynnRamsay. Loved the reaction - thanks for sharing!

So beautiful and heartbreaking. The first time I heard this I hoped that it wasn't written from Bastien's personal experience, but it was. His family wasn't very supportive when he came out as gay. His parents have since reconciled, but other family members have not, sadly. Adam Rupp said he couldn't stop crying while he was recording the percussion track. There are lots of much happier songs on their new Christmas album - Any Kind of Christmas. Two more originals co-written by Tim, including the title track. And a track that will give you a new perspective on Adam Rupp.

Great review. This song is such a beautiful gut punch. The other song that they have released so far is another heart tugger, but it’s a lovely Rob lead. The videos for some of the funnier ones from the CD will be out shortly. They did Grinch! I can’t wait for that video!

Adam Bastien wrote this song. Love it. Haven’t you heard that Adam Rupp (beatboxer) is called the spitter?! The new Adam is wonderful. He fits right in.

To solve her knowing the names, she just has to remember Ballsdrop, Adam and Teddy bear. Three out of five members have the first name Adam and Rob with his beard and glasses just looks like a big old teddy bear.

This is an original co-written by Adam Bell-Bastien and Tim Foust and Adam Bell-Bastien was a member of Home Free shortly after the group was founded. He is a great vocalist, but I still prefer Austin's voice. Hope y'all had a great Thanksgiving. Puff puff pass 🙌✌️
