I think it's nice, I love how you make your background music with these instruments. But I think you should leave the high parts of the song for the girl? For example, verse 2 and the bridge. your voice sounds better in lower range. the girl's voice was perfect. sorry, just my opinion. anyway you both did a nice job!!

Alex's voice is different from Alec, that's true.., however, in my opinion, Alex Goot did a great job covering this song. He did not force himself into this song just like some other people are saying. What he did was PUT HIS OWN SPIN to this song.., this is a COVER you guys, which means it should somehow sound different from the original.
