@@bb3683 Lmao, what benefit would I gain from "covering" for them? There are plenty of people I have helped who had performance issue that were sourced from outside the game. It can be both the game *and* the PC.

In my case: i have an i7 9700k, 3070, 32gb ram 4x8 2400mhz. Cpu bottleneck with big dips in gpu usage and fps. To counter this i tried to force more gpu usage with in game settings, overclocked the cpu to 4.9ghz with safe temperatures, overclocked the ram to 3200. This made a big performance improvement and the gpu stay most of the time with 99% usage but i still have some dips. I dont know if i can do anything else to improve with this system. Only upgrading the cpu I think. Settings: Resolution: 1440p Screen: fullscreen Texture Quality: Medium Shadows Quality: Low Object LOD Quality: 2 Overall Visibility: 1000 Anti-aliasing: TAA Resampling: 1x off (duh) DLSS/FSR 1.0/ FSR 2.1: Off HBAO: high SSR: high Anisotropic Filtering: off Nvidia Reflex: On Sharpness: 0.1 MIP Streaming Off Postfx with clarity all the way up increases gpu usage.

@@pedraaaa I have similar scenario but with: i9-9900k, 3080, 32gb ram 2x16 3200mhz. My setting are also nearly the same as you have the only differences are: HBAO and SSR are Ultra, DLSS on Quality(because if you have 99% gpu usage you'll lose fps in some areas(especially in Labs and in Factory since they work really well and those maps are GPU intensive probably) so you need to balance it between 1440p and with a DLSS or FSR). I tried everything, even lowering all settings to the lowest but I get the same fps.

Just went from an I7 7700k with 16GB 2400mhz ram and GTX 1080ti to I5 14600k 32Gb 6400mhz ram with 1080ti and the performance increase is phenomenal. Just waiting to upgrade my GPU. Before on streets lucky to get 40-50 fps. Not I average 90-110 fps

That’s strange. The highest I’ve seen is 115 fps. I have got low streets settings on, I do use project lasso, are you using DDR5 as I can’t see how my system would have slightly better fps than yourself. Unless I’ve set up different nvidia settings etc

The biggest fix for me was to buy 7800x3d. Now even streets are smooth.

haven't playe dtarkov for a month, got back into it and for some reason even customs runs like shit, used to have like 60fps when aiming with a scope, now it's 45 lmao. haven't changed my system, haven't changed the settings, nothing.

Hardware Scheduling definitely seems to affect whether tarkov uses a GPU or CPU on my (Win10)R7 5800x / GTX 1080. I think people should test this setting just in case also.

I dont know why people keep trying to jump through hoops and wonder what they can do to make tarkov run better....ITS ALL ON BSG AND THATS IT!!! Stop trying to dickride bsg and call it for what it is. This game should run flawlessly, even with mid hardware.

i hate modern devs being lazy fucks that cant optimize their games for shit, i remember playing games that did miles more in terms of ai/enviroment destruction than most games and run flawlessly on what is now shit hardware, and yet modern devs cant seem to make one single game that doesnt fuck your performance unless you have the best of the best of hardware.

My FPS changes daily, by nearly 30 average, Somedays i peak at 50 some days i peak at 20. I've tried thousands of combinations of settings and absolutely nothing follows any kind of pattern or logic. This game is irreparably fucked.

I should add, i can play The newest CoD's on ultra, buttery 75 fps, i can't play customs on tarkov with everything low above 50fps at the best of times.

@@vynn8736 Might be your CPU or RAM limiting you. Tarkov is not exactly optimized. Your settings could also be too low, some settings on higher options gives me higher fps - probably because the work is offloaded from my CPU to GPU, but who knows at this point.

Hi I have rtx 4060 ti 8 GB, 32 GB RAM 5600 and CPU ryzen5 7600, ssd nvme 1 tb , low quality with 1920x1080 full hd,55 fps; I have quite heavy lag problem with the map street of tarkov. There is something I can do to fix this kind of problem or my PC can't do better with this hardware? Thanks for helping

I have a 10100f with a 2060 6gb, and 32 ramm 2666. Any advice to boost up frames (i got like 20-30 frames on streets with all the settings on low), or the only way is getting a better CPU with more cores? My bottleneck is like 15% cpu to gpu, so its ok for ANY new game coming out

dude your pc is good enough, its Tarkov that sucks I have i7-10700k RTX 3070 8gb zotac edition 16gb RAM with fast SSD, game runs on low and maxed out basicly the same ,doesnt matter what settings I use, My friend has 32bg RAM i9 cpu rtx3060 12gb and we both get almost the same fps and on some occasions I get more than my friend. TARKOV is the problem! When we check the usage of cpu and gpu I get 44% cpu 46% gpu usage on any settings maxed out or lowest. This game sucks hard!!!! Dont spend money buy upgrade and the game will run the same.. there are some pc parts like amd cpu and some graphic cards that work well with tarkov because they have good singe cores. Tarkov doesnt use your full pc potential and the part it uses, it uses it not optimaly.. sorry for my bad english but I tried to explain it in simple words. Hope you read it and take a second look on some stuff before you buy. I tried all videos on youtube on reddit everywhere and so I landed here too and trust me nothing works just use the default in game settings that is all you can do and all that work. For me there is no hope anymore with this game. I get about 140 fps on factory and on customs about 60-100 fps depends

I quite regret didn't see that this game extremely unoptimized follow my peers inviting me to play the game and I just brought I have to go through OC,upgrade device tweak , reinstall OS , upgrade Bios. Literally, turned me a bit techy over the weeks

if you load into offline raid with NO AI you will get insane fps and full gpu usage all the time... if you load the AI then it goes to shit.. it must be a cpu bottleneck even though its only at 40-50%

nobody ever talks about how important Hard drive speed is for tarkov. It's so critical. Don't use a cheap storage device for this game, get the fastest storage you can get.
