This video creeped me out for an entirely different reason than probably intended. I realized that if in real life, even as an adult, I heard some desperate person banging on my door, begging for help, I’d probably be too scared to open it. Which isn’t exactly scary for me, until I think about what could happen if I was the one running and begging, as a crazed lunatic stalks me.

At first I expected something similar to the movie “Let Me in” about a young vampire girl, who’s not able to enter another’s home without invitation. And apparently it applies to certain vampire lore. But this was better than I expected, and the guy seems to be screwed for life. That’s one helluva curse to bear. And I was also questioning whether if he had let the man in, if he’d still be plagued by the creatures. Who knows? Maybe the man would’ve been a killer? He would’ve ended up showing up nightly just like the cryptids. Damn good story! 👍

Things homeboy should have tried: -Try talking to the voice outside. Who are you? Why are you trying to get into my house in particular? How do you come back every night? -Try going somewhere with no doors or windows, such as a deep basement or similar. -Try recording it. Is it possible to hear the voice in recordings? Can other people hear it over the phone? -For the creatures, call the police and say there are rabid animals outside attacking your house. Will they disappear when others come around? Then order a pizza every time it happens or something. -Can other people see them? Is it safe to be outside if you are with someone? What if you go to a club and stay there until dawn? Bouncers might help keep them out. -Talk to a psychologist if there are no physical evidence, it means it is probably schizophrenia Creepypasta protagonists never think of shit like this for some reason, even when dealing with a problem for years.

So the dude at the start knew he would be sacrificing you to pass the curse on so it seems like the punishment for doing that was to curse him to always try to gain entry while in a constantly mutilated state of undeath until he was successful and only then could he finally die. My guess as to where the curse started was someone researching ways to escape death learned that if you can gain willing entry into another persons house before the hellhounds get you, you can pass the scent of your soul onto someone else and effectively you can live forever but everytime you do this they send more hellhounds and better more viscous ones so it started out as outrunning 1 hellhound that was doing a simple job and not necessarily hunting you down like an animal so back at the start of the curse it was easier to stay calm and collected to gain entry before the hounds became a problem. After the person breaks though and the hounds get them they either pass the pack onto someone else or the hounds default back to dragging the original person to hell. Seems like in this scenario there are some rules like “you must persuade them to open their door starting after sunset and not a moment sooner” so you can’t just make plans and then sick the hounds on someone like that. And the soul scent is only passed if the resident willingly lets you in. There might even be a rule against lying to gain entry but a lack of evidence isn’t proof of lack of substance. Not the author just someone making theory’s but ide love to hear if there was any lore thought up to this story outside what we heard

Few months ago a guy came to our house at the end of a blind street. Knocked on our door and asked for water in English (I'm from Slovakia). It was past 3 a.m. My bf was awake because he's diabetic and low sugar woke him up. So our house was the only one with lights. My bf woke me just in case and told him to go away. Pretty scary, we live in a tiny house, so windows are low, and it was summer night, so we weren't even wearing anything. Our water isn't connected yet, so we wouldn't even be able to fill his bottle. But why the fuck was a stranger who doesn't speak the language at our house at such hour??

This is one of those that copies the same problem as It follows. Don't make any sense due to the fact one person would just not repeat the cycle therefore it has no where to go and cannot act again. Or if the cycle just repeated with letting the guy in, no one would ever die since the curse would just always jump from person to person without a death.
