Ouch, this really damn hurts. This is a really good story. It’s extremely well done. It makes you wonder wether or not he’s still in the house and subtly implies that he did indeed escape but his mind is so twisted and paranoid he believes he’s still trapped, yet it also balances you on that delicate line of perhaps he really is still trapped. It’s amazing. What’s really sad tho is if he really is delusional, how much it messed up his good life. His scared wife and children, his poor dad. The dad part gets to me a lot and I think it’s because it hits way too close to home for comfort and that’s what really bothers me about it

I thought nothing could scare me until the day i was spending the night at my friend's place back when i was in college...i was lying awake alone in the guest room looking at the light coming through the window blinds from the street lights and thinking about the coming exams when suddenly someone or something stood behind the window blocking the light and was like trying to peek inside and it stood there for about a minute in which my heart almost stopped and then went away... I'll never forget the shadow and the outlines i will never forget how it kept still looking inside through the window and i will never forget how scared i was
@poison-wolf-14284 жыл бұрын
Omg you made me remember something from my childhood... when I was very young I remember looking outside (probably was dreaming or it was my brain playing tricks... at the time I didn't know that kind of things could happen in my head) and I seen this ghostly/giant/bigfoot/alien thing standing next to the street light (a few feet smaller than the light post) then it wouldn't stop looking at me so after awhile I eventually closed the blinds then peaked through them and it walked a way that night I was so scared I didn't know what to do except stay as still as possible and hope it didn't see me (lol even tho it was watching me) but after that I made my parents put something else over the window so I had blankets and blinds on the window. Now that I'm older I now understand what was happening because now I see and hear things so I learned not to get scared at all because if I know I'm a wake (or at least I feel awake... learned how to lucid dream so I can tell what is and it's real to an extent) I can just ignore what's happening or just not care at all. Going back to the lucid dreaming part thanks to that its helped me in a lot of situation so now I haven't gotten scared or even felt that feeling of adrenaline

I spent ten days in a medical coma and had very vivid dreams like I was there I could feel hot cold humidity and other things but I couldn’t feel pain. I couldn’t control my dreams but I remember 2 seperate instances where I woke up in my bed and it was the weekend, I’d go downstairs and my dad would’ve made me breakfast but something wasn’t right I could never figure out what. I was real young at the time I couldn’t have been older than 8 or 9 and when my dream would change my reality would breakdown and I would lying if I said I didn’t cry myself to “sleep” because for all I knew at the time I had died and was in some afterlife. Even after I woke up and was in real reality I had dreams when I slept where it was like I was still in my coma and it was like this for almost a month to the point that I was just waiting for reality to breakdown again. When I grew older and developed a better grasp on my thoughts my experience has me appreciating everything I have because I know this is real and I know of a fate worse than death. Even though this happened years ago I still question myself on what I remember and how much I remember was real and dream and this story connected to me in a way I never thought possible.

Okay, I get thinking straight isn't exactly easy in this situation, but here's the thing. He posted this online, and we are hearing it, so it is implied that it's in the real world. So, logically, he lost. The thing to do, would be to continue living the happy life. Because, if it is all a fabrication, and the house can create realities from nothing, then there is actually no way to beat it, so the house wins. If it's real however, you ruin this great life you've gotten, and the house wins by continue to torture you after you escaped. You lose either way. Whereas, if you continue just living life, and it is a fabrication, the house has already won, so you lose. But if it isn't a fabrication, and you continue to enjoy life, then you win, and the house loses. Only one of these choices yields a positive outcome.

I thought nothing could scare me. The house: Hold my realistic hallucinations If they even were hallucinations...stories like these are amazing. The wondering of what happened and what is real? Was the person just insane or was everything actually caused by the house? Amazing story and amazing narrating.

find any other stories as hardcore as this? I haven't been able to find a single one to genuinely scare me, out of hundreds of cp's.. this one seems more elaborate and well done, so it's closer to the horror genre.. I'm looking for the truly frightening ones
@Frightterror3 жыл бұрын
@@cherryscarlett Well I don't remember any recent ones but I remember that I found story "It has no face" creepy (that story was long time ago tho.) Also "How monsters are made" was good imo...And I want to recommed "I am Halloween" because I find it interesting and something different.
@cherryscarlett3 жыл бұрын
@@Frightterror you're right they were all very good!! I wish there was a channel that *made* stories to anyone's liking instead of just reading randomness from strangers who wrote it. If you could request any horror story what should it be like, or what would it have, for it to be custom made to enthrall your senses? The more personal the story, the more scary or powerful, I think..

@@cherryscarlett I think what makes stories great is having some eerie/creepy stuff...Something that makes us fear the unknown, the less we know the creepier it gets if the story does not tell all the details about for example the monster in story "How Monsters are made" I think it made the story a lot creepier because we don't know what the monster is or where it came from etc. Glad to hear that my recommendations were good! ;)

@@Frightterror Title: *The Guessing Game* .. An unknown game played by a set of barely legible instructions, written in medieval script on a treasure map. If you guess the monster hunting you on each night you survive until dawn. There are hidden clues you need to search for to identify them, and use their weakness to hide so they can't track you. the clues appear during the day, the prowling begins after sunset. If you survive a week, you get a wish. Survive all three, and all three wishes are granted. Imagination fills in the blanks, how is that for a skeleton-story ?

I like the portrayal of thinking you don't deserve anything good happening to you because of your past... I often feel the same. I got a great job and awesome kids. But sometimes (pretty often) I still feel like this can't be real.

Man, I wish it was that easy to become a Librarian, and that's how you know he's still stuck. For those curious, you need a bachelor's degree in pretty much anything (though many librarians will get a degree related to the field of work they're interested in--one who wants to work at the Harvard Law Library may get an LL. B, whereas a museum curator might get an art history degree). After that, it's another 4 years of schooling in an ALA accredited program to get a Master of Librarian Science degree. Anything less will net you an assistant librarian position at best, which is usually an hourly wage-based position at minimum wage or very slightly higher. If you want to net a salaried position with decent pay, though, it's off to school with you. Hi, I am trying to get my MLS degree, but I'm paying out of pocket while working other jobs, pls send help.

Now this is an odd one. It could've stopped with the laptop & the confusion but it kept on going. However it kinda blows that we're left with a cliffhanger? Is he really still in the house? Did he escape? This needs a sequel.
