Guess you didn't watch the Apple Behind the Scenes video they put on YT today where they show the gear used to film the event with a iPhone 15 Max. The one line on bottom of the screen at the end answers part of your question it says... Additional pro software and hardware used. Special thanks to Blackmagic Design and Beastgrip. They mention in the video all the iPhones were attached to external USB C drives. So sure shot on a iPhone, but with a team of video experts. So in reality the whole event in many ways was a 30 minute iPhone advertisement in the end. As word gets around about the whole thing shot on a iPhone I bet iPhone gets a bigger sales bump than Macbooks and the iMac.

I went to a University with friends in the Visual Cinema Media Arts program. They had access to high end Arri cameras, HOWEVER, one of them shot with an iPhone 4 and edited his clips. It was all in his directive touch - like panning, lighting etc. It all comes down to the layers, music, audio, cuts, angles, compositions. So even with a sub-par camera it came out just as good. Stability and motion (panning) was the biggest takeaway.

They probably shot it in ProRes Log, which is only supported on the iPhone 15 Pros. That's how they were able to get the colors right.

I'm not using my computer for "Pro" reasons but I love playing PC games on my 57" Samsung Neo G9 primary monitor with 49" Samsung Neo G9 Secondary. All of that is running on a 4090, 7950X3D, and 96GB DDR5. When I'm out and about, all I need is my iPhone 12 Pro Max and Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra Earbuds to watch KZbin, call, and text. Apple has not sold anything that caught my eye in recent years except the Apple Watch Ultra which has a great battery life so I went out and got one. One day when they can come up with a computer that can run all the games with ultra settings on my monitor of choice I'll take them seriously.

So basically it's exactly the same as the previous models,but with a super duper life changing new chip! Take my money apple, actually here's my bank details, just take money out of my bank whenever you want, not!! The imac is absolutely ridiculous,it's exactly the same as the 2021 imac, same design,same resolution,same colours, just thrown in another chip! The M1 is enough for 99% of people using a imac no problem at all. I actually hate the way the imac looks,it looks so outdated, huge bezels, massive chin,it looks like it's from 2016, I remember all the rumours and so called leaks just before the 2021 imac came out, showing a beautiful practically bezeless screen 5k,possible 8k screen, then this monstrosity came out? Apple just rip people of, the problem is,if there are enough people who keep upgrading and giving Apple money,of course Apple will still do it. Oh and don't get me started on the iPhone 15 and 15 max, still only 60hz??? And the 15 pro and pro max are disasters,so many issues already. Apple your not having my money!!

Apple is once again playing funny games with numbers. M3 and M3 Max slides feature a comparison to the respective M2 chips, but M3 Pro is compared only to M1 Pro. Guess why - it has a 6+6 core configuration instead of 8+4, so it’s actually a downgrade from M2 Pro for CPU-intensive tasks. The much hyped new GPU is only 10% faster, you’re certainly not going to be playing AAA titles with raytracing on that. Perhaps it can be used to accelerate offline 3D rendering if the software gets updated to make use of the new RT hardware, but in any case it’s doubtful most users will ever be able to take advantage of that feature.
