Used to get ta great take away burger from what is now Coco Bay last time i was there iin 1992, your video just gave me a flashback, can see myself standing there at the take out counter 18 years old haha.

I lived and worked in Santa Ponsa from 1988 to 1994. I entertained (Guitar & vocals) in many of the bars. I worked in McTavished Bar before and after it was McTs. It was called `the Thistldome` before McTs. I`ve been back a few times since. The last time was 2017. Hope to be back soon. Good video. Thanks.

We have been for 18 years to hotel Casablanca. Lovely family hotel with super friendly staff. I can say we've become friends with them.

Was in Santa Ponza many years ago. Is Strings music bar still open, it was near the small roundabout. We stayed in the Verdemar Apartments

Hi I’m coming back for my 15th holiday since 2007 , I’m a solo traveler & I’m disabled with multiple sclerosis, I’ve tried a few hotels in the resort, but the one I now use is the H10 Casa del Mar, I now stay for 3 weeks, love the beach and the restaurants n bars The H10 is the most central of the hotels I’ve stayed in , the plaza I found as very nice but had become a bit tiring for me to get back to late night n early morning as I get about using crutches, I’m known in many bars especially Daniel’s corner, I eat in various restaurants around that area , and I get around the resort at my own pace It’s a great resort for holidays & I feel comfortable there 😊

@@neilrgreatestadventures HI NEIL, thanks for liking my comments on Santa Ponsa , I’ve tried to come there most years since my first visit back in 2007, was married then but been single since 2010 , I developed multiple sclerosis later that year & was diagnosed with Relaping remitting MS , I stayed stable until 2012 when I had a severe relapse & my condition worsened a lot . So it was 2016 when I felt up to coming back -returning again in 2017,2018,2019. 2020 was covid year so no holidays taken that year , but since 2021 I’ve been having 3 weeks in the H10 - I know the resort well now so I feel confident in getting about , my mind was initially affected a bit & I suffered depression but repeated holidays in the nice hot sunshine have improved my heath a lot , I no longer need glasses to read or recognise places or people. I know people who run bars n restaurants now & they always recognise me too This is why I return so often . Hope you n your family get to enjoy it as much as I do. Tony ☺️

Hi Neil enjoyed your video. 1st time in SP and will be the last. We were in Costa de la calma hotel and we were very unkindly greeted by the worst receptionist we have ever met. His favourite phrase to women is "Listen Lady" in a patronising tone. Very rude!The pool bar staff were great its a shame this shell of a man represents the hotel as he the 1st person people meet. We were also made to feel unwelcome by most families around the pool as were are English and most of these were Irish. I am far from stuck up but the manners of most families in this hotel were atrocious. I dont really like giving bad reviews but stay clear of this hotel in particular if you're not Irish and have a minimum expectation of behaviour.

We stayed at the H10 CASA DEL MAR it was an absolutely awful hotel I didn't sleep for 5 nights due to a generator outside the balcony, and the balcony door was broken. Asked to move rooms and as we booked with TUI we are basic. Fur coat no knickers as the saying goes. We go to palmanova in September staying at the saint Lucia hotel 🤞it's nice hotel ❤
