Hey Michael, hope all is well. I had been avoiding animal videos for a little bit, as I lost my cat last month, and if any of you have cats, please read. She was 13 and was never spayed because she wasn't around any other cats and I didn't feel necessary. Well apparently it was, as she started having problems with her uterus. It was filled with pus (sorry to be graphic but want people to know how important it is to have them spayed). I asked what the survival rates were, and the vet very coldly told me if I didn't do the surgery she would die, so I had no choice. I was trying to save her life. I put her thru a pretty expensive surgery, (cost us $1500 in the USA) and she still ended up dying a week later. I have some real issues with how the vet treated her after the surgery but I won't go into it here. Anyways, I just know you have a lot of animal lovers on here and you yourself have a lot of cats and I wanted to tell everyone, even if your cat won't be around other animals, you should still have them spayed when they are younger. I wish I had knew how important it was and wanted to pass it along to your viewers. I still miss my little Princess every day and am still heartbroken over it. But thanks again for all you do Michael, hope you and Jackie are well. Bless you guys.

I have missed watching the Zoo house. Michael always seems to be able to stay positive and I appreciate that. I know people lose animals all the time, as it's a part of life, but just wanted to pass along my story because I feel like it was avoidable and hope if even one person reads it I can maybe save them some heartache

Dear Daddy J. you must clean the pigs water. This is unhealthy and would you drink it? No. The ducks water is gross also. Please clean out as drinking dirty water can harm their immune systems. They would prefer the clean to dirty also. No body likes dirty dishes and water. There was a big debate about this on a sanctuary farm called Long Horn Lesters sanctuary farm, and they scrub and bleach their water dishes everyday for everyone on their farm. Their water is clean. They have three farms and visit two a day to make sure everyone has clean water and are healthy. You can be your age and still learn a few things.

His next invention needs to be an outdoor water renewal system, to keep the water fresh for the animals. To give Michael an idea, he should look at the Generalife gardens at the Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain. They are an amazing use of very little water.

Ducks ADD dirt to their water for the minerals. Think about how these animals live in the wild. Michael is a one man team and tries his hardest to keep his animals happy.

The pigs and ducks make it dirty, ducks do it for minerals and pigs might do it for that reason too, water in the wild is like that too, if it was always bad water they wouldn't be healthy or probably even alive.
