I have a chronic illness, I’m often extremely sick and bed ridden. Every single time I feel that way I listen to this and it makes me tear up because I genuinely feel valid and cared for, I feel encouraged that I will get better and how I’m feeling will pass. I've had the worst week ever. My grandmother passed on Wednesday, then my grandfather and mother came down with covid, and now my dad has a stomach bug and I'm taking care of everyone and doing a lot of the funeral planning. @@pamelaroy8007 Yeah. I wanted one of those, or one of those rocks that light up. But my sister said that I'd probably freak out with any shapes it would make. And I actually think I would. So I have a small round battery light it has a button on the middle to turn on. It works well, though the downside is that the battery runs out fast so I have to change them at least once a week since I leave the light on all night long until I wake up. And during the day when I take a nap, I slightly open the curtain and let some sunlight come through so I can turn off the room light. Though I really think a lava lamp would have been really cool to have. I'd be all focusing on it all night to see the colors and the shapes change, maybe.
