"Riffs don't need to be complicated" - True! I grew up playing a lot of Blink 182 and Relient K songs on guitar and their riffs were both always fairly simple, but still fun to play.

Hell yeah man. I had a pop punk band for a while actually! So much fun to play that genre.

Good lines! Not many players currently use double stops. They usually use too much distortion to get the notes to sound well. I usually use a few Dave Grissom lines to check out guitar and amp/pedal combinations, so I can use distortion, but still get 2-3 notes to sound well. I never found a title for it, but it's the 'David Grissom at NAMM 2008' KZbin vid. His 'Lucy G' tune is very similar. He uses a lot of thumb over lines too. Mike Landau has a good version of 'I'm Buzzed' with double stops and drop D tuning. He keeps changing it, but the 'Michael Landau Germany 2007' KZbin vid and song 4, version is the one I use.

Love the sound, would have loved to see more clearly what you are actually playing. With tabs or close-ups. Maybe next time? Thanks anyway, love the channel.

Hey man, I've just heard a song a few minutes ago and I immediately thought of you because I think you should cover it in one of your amazing video renditions... Check "Stranger In a Strange Land" (The Rock 1996) by John Entwistle. I think it's your vibe totally and I can already see you covering it! Do it! :-))

Hey Alex, This comment had more to do with tone town. I was just thinking..if you are on your own next week maybe you should have a guest host with you. Someone like Sean Or mod scientist who you can riff with. Maybe they can be like a crowd voice asking you questions about your journey or something? Or talk equipment . Or the focus of the show could be you and a cohost talking to the chat group about what guitar stuff everyone got for christmas??? Just some suggestions. Take it or leave it.
