Thank you. The landing was actually not his best as you see him dip his head at the end in disappointment. But in his defense, landing there on any good wind day is tricky and difficult as there are lots of wind roters that makes you crash into the ground or worse. Torrey is tough on any sailplane.

As a general rule, I'm not crazy about videos with music beds, but Pink Floyd & the Minimoa do seem to be a perfectly matched couple in this one. The other exception would be the cliff-soaring masterpieces of John Woodfield. (He happens to be a continent and an ocean away, but boy, would he and Mike make a perfect pair flying duo!)

LOL, thank you. Is there any videos of him flying? Please post back here with a link if you can. Music is the hardest to add to the videos. I've tried no music but the wind noise from our iPhone is just horrible. So it is a hit or miss on the audience as to if they like the music I have chosen. For the most part I tend to pick what I like and hope others do too. I get great pleasure in making these videos as it recaptures the great day out with really good friends and it always warms my hart to watch them later on. Thank you for your reply. 🙂

@@Paiadakine I was there earlier today from about 1pm to about 3:30pm. Had solid lift, flew my DG-1000 up to 800' and Randy flew the ASH-26
