How can I shut my mind off during my quiet time. I’m having a hard time meditating on God’s word.

Brother Andrew teaches that praying in Tonges for a long period of time 30-40 minutes even 1 or 2 hours at a time, has to quiet down your mind and lossen it's grip over your spirit.
